in Designing Lesson Plan during Field Teaching Practice. Supervised by: Dr. Sitti

This study aims to explore EFL pre-service teachers’ experiences in designing
lesson plan during field teaching practice. Eight pre-service teachers in the
English language education department provided reflections that were used to
collect dat. The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine the experiences
felt by pre-service teachers during field teaching practice. Through thematic
analysis methods, data were analyzed qulitatively, and the result of data analysis
revealed five emerging themes, i.e., participants’ personal views, steps, guides,
problems, and benefits of designing lesson plan for EFL pre-service teachers. This
study implies that pre-service teachers can design their own lesson plans before
entering class during field teaching practice.
