Abstract

ABSTRAK
Nama: Fira Artanti, NIM: 2020010103019, Judul Skripsi: “Penerapan Sistem
Informasi Manajemen di SMPN 23 Kendari”,Dibimbing oleh: Prof.Dr.H.Nur
Alim M.Pd dan Dr.Akib M.Pd.
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen di
SMPN 23 Kendari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan
sistem informasi manajemen di SMPN 23 Kendari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah
penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan
data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat
diketahui bahwa (1) Kepala sekolah menjadi pengendali utama dalam proses
penerapan sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan di sekolah, pelaksanaan
sistem informasi manajemen di sekolah dilakukan oleh staf, TU, dan guru pada
setiap kegiatan sekolah. Selanjutnya untuk memastikan SIM berjalan dengan baik
maka ada beberapa upaya untuk kelancaran SIM ialah: pelatihan pengguna,
pengembangan keterampilan, penelolaan data, dan pencadangan data. Kemudian
sumber dukungan berasal dari tim IT sekolah, pihak ketiga, dan finansial. (2)
Kemudian Bentuk aplikasi sistem informasi manajemen adalah : Dapodik yang
membantu dalam pendataan siswa kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar pemberian
penyaluran program Indonesia pintar, E-rapor digunakan untuk membuat laporan
hasil belajar intrakurikuler siswa per-semester, PMM digunakan untuk membantu
guru dalam mengakses bahan ajar, Arkas digunakan untuk membantu sekolah
dalam proses penganggaran dan pertangung jawaban dana bantuan operasional.
(3) Faktor hambatan dalam penerapan sistem informasi manajemen adalah :
keterbatasan jaringan wifi/internet, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana sekolah,
keterbatasan SDM yang dimilki oleh staf. Saran yang peneliti berikan adalah (1)
SMPN 23 Kendari sebaiknya lebih memanfaatkan social media sebagai wadah
untuyk melakukan kegiatan promosi, misalnya tiktok.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to identify the application to the management Information System
in the U.S.M.N.23 Kendri. This type of research is qualitative research with a
case study approach with data collection techniques through observations,
interviews, and documentation. The results of this research can be known that (1)
The head of the school is the primary controller in the implementation of the
educational management information system in the school, the application of
management information systems in school is carried out by staff, TU, and
teachers in every school activity. TU and the head of school always strives to
facilitate the needs in the learning process of teaching in SMPN 23 Kendari.
Further to ensure that the SIM works properly then there are some efforts for the
smoothness of the SIM are: user training, skills development, data management,
and data backup. Then the source of support comes from the school's IT team,
third-party, and financial. (2) Then the application form of the management
information system is: Dapodik that helps in student deposition then used as a
basis for distribution of Indonesian intelligent program, E-report used to make
reports of intra-curricular learning outcomes students per-semester, PMM used to
help teachers in accessing teaching materials, Arkas used to assist schools in the
process of deployment and intersect answers to operational aid funds. (3) The
obstacles to the implementation of management information systems are:
restrictions on Wi-Fi/internet networks, limitations on school facilities and
facilities, restrictions of SDM imposed by staff. The suggestion that the
researchers give is (1) SMPN 23 Kendari better use social media as a container
untuyk to carry out promotional activities, for example ticking.
