Nurhalisa, NIM: 19010107004. Pengaruh Metode Demonstrasi Terhadap
Hasil Belajar IPA Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Lembo (Dibimbing Oleh :
Bapak Ismaun S.Si., M.Si dan Ibu Nourma Yulita S.Pd., M.Pd)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII di
SMP Negeri 1 Lembo pada mata pelajaran IPA, (2) pengaruh metode
pembelajaran demonstrasi terhadap hasil belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah
seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembo. Sampel yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 2 kelas, yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara, observasi dan
instrumen tes (Pretest dan Posttest). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah
kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dalam bentuk (Quasy Exsperiment
Design). Uji Validitas menggunakan rumus teknik koefisien korelasi Product
Moment. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik
analisis statistik dan analisis inferensial. Hasil belajar siswa menggunakan
metode demonstrasi ditemukan bahwa nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan (pretest)
adalah 29,75 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah perlakuan (posttest) adalah 77,25,
sedangkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran
konvensional ditemukan bahwa nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan (pretest) adalah
28,25 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah perlakuan (posttest) adalah 60,50. Hasil
penelitian ditemukan bahwa ada pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap hasil
belajar siswa dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4,940 sedangkan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,685.
Dari data ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung> ttabel, sehingga hipotesis diterima
dimana variabel Metode Demonstasi (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Hasil
Belajar IPA (Y).

This study aims to determine: (1) student learning outcomes in class VIII at SMP
Negeri 1 Lembo in science subjects, (2) the effect of demonstration learning
methods on learning outcomes. The population in the study were all students of
class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembo. The sample used in this study was 2 classes,
totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews,
observation and test instruments (Pretest and Posttest). The research approach
used is quantitative with the type of experimental research in the form (Quasy
Experiment Design). Validity test uses the Product Moment correlation coefficient
technical formula. Data analysis techniques used in this study are statistical
analysis techniques and inferential analysis. The results of student learning using
the demonstration method found that the average value before treatment (pretest)
was 29.75 and the average value after treatment (posttest) was 77.25, while the
learning outcomes of students using conventional learning methods found that the
average value before treatment (pretest) was 28.25 and the average value after
treatment (posttest) was 60.50. The results of the study found that there was an
effect of the demonstration method on student learning outcomes with a tcount of
4.940 while a ttable value of 1.685. From this data it shows that the value of
tcount> ttable, so the hypothesis is accepted where the Demonstration Method
variable (X) has a significant effect on Science Learning Outcomes (Y).
