Laboratorium IPA Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa dan Hasil
Belajar IPA Kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan, Program Studi Tadris
IPA, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam Negeri
Kendari, Pembimbing: Bapak Dr. Mansyur, M.Pd dan Bapak Zul Arham,
S.Si, M.Si.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh pemanfaatan
Laboratorium IPA terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di SMPN 1 Konawe
Selatan; 2) pengaruh pemanfaatan Laboratorium IPA terhadap hasil belajar IPA di
SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif.
Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Konawe
Selatan sebanyak 272 siswa, sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu
sebanyak 73 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan
angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik
analisis deskriptif uji prasyarat (means, rentang data, kelas interval, panjang kelas,
median, varians, standar deviasi, persentase, dan kategorisasi), teknik analisis
inferensial (uji normalitas dan uji linearitas), dan uji hipotesis (uji regresi linear
sederhana, uji F, uji t, uji koefisien determinasi dan uji hipotesis statistik). Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA di SMPN 1
Konawe Selatan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 80,75 dengan kategori sedang; 2)
Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan memiliki rata-rata
sebesar 78,05 dengan kategori sedang; 3) Hasil belajar IPA di SMPN 1 Konawe
Selatan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 81,91 dengan kategori sedang; 4) Terdapat
pengaruh pemanfaatan Laboratorium IPA terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis
siswa, dengan nilai thitung 2,769> ttabel 1,666 dengan kontribusi sebesar 9,7%,
sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA (X)
berpengaruh terhadap variabel keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa (Y1); 5) Terdapat
pengaruh pemanfaatan Laboratorium IPA terhadap hasil belajar IPA, dengan nilai
thitung 3,387> ttabel 1,666 dengan kontribusi sebesar 13,9%, sehingga dapat
disimpulkan bahwa variabel pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA (X) berpengaruh
terhadap variabel hasil belajar IPA (Y2).

Utilization on Students' Critical Thinking Skills and Science Learning
Outcomes Class VIII at SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan, Science Tadris Study
Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Kendari State Islamic

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of using the Science Laboratory
on students' critical thinking skills at SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan; 2) the effect of the
use of the Science Laboratory on the science learning outcomes of SMPN 1
Konawe Selatan. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this
study were all students of class VIII at SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan as many as 272
students, the sample used in this study was 73 students. Data collection techniques
in this research using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis
technique used is descriptive analysis technique of prerequisite test (means, data
range, class interval, class length, median, variance, standard deviation,
percentage, and categorization), inferential analysis technique (normality test and
linearity test), and hypothesis testing. (simple linear regression test, F test, t test,
coefficient of determination test and statistical hypothesis testing). The results
showed that: 1) The use of the science laboratory at SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan had
an average of 80,75 in the medium category; 2) Students' critical thinking skills at
SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan have an average of 78,05 in the medium category; 3)
Science learning outcomes at SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan have an average of 81,91
in the medium category; 4) There is an influence of the use of the Science
Laboratory on students' critical thinking skills, with a value of tcount 2,769 > ttable
1,666 with a contribution of 9,7%, so it can be concluded that the variable use of
the science laboratory (X) has an effect on the variable of students' critical
thinking skills (Y1); 5) There is an effect of the use of the Science Laboratory on
the science learning outcomes, with a value of tcount 3,387 > ttable 1,666 with a
contribution of 13,9%, so it can be concluded that the science laboratory
utilization variable (X) has an effect on the science learning outcome variable
(Y2).
