Abstract

Sesar Nopriansyah, NIM. 19010108034 Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Materi
Sistem Ekskresi Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan,
Dibimbing Oleh: Bapak Ir. Muragmi Gazali M. Ed dan Syarif Rizalia M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kesulitan
belajar siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 2
Konawe Selatan, 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar
siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negara 2 Konawe
Selatan, 3) Untuk mengetahui cara guru mengatasi kesulitan belajar yang di
hadapi oleh siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan. Penelitian
ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Tehnik analasis data pada penelitian ini yaitu
reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tingkat kesulitan belajar siswa materi sistem ekskresi
pada indikator mengetahui definisi sistem ekskresi mengidentifikasi sebesar 97%
kategori tidak sulit, mengidentifikasi berbagai organ pada sistem ekskresi sebesar
47% kategori cukup sulit, mengidentifikasi keterkaitan hubungan antara struktur
dan jaringan fungsi organ pada sistem ekskresi sebesar 48% kategori cukup sulit,
menjelaskan mekanisme pada sistem ekskresi sebesar 45% kategori cukup sulit,
dan menjelaskan gangguan/ kelainan fungsi pada sistem ekskresi sebesar 59%
kategori sedikit sulit. 2) Faktor-faktor penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan
belajar tediri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor
internal meliputi intelegensi, minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Sedangkan faktor
eksternal meliputi lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan keluarga. 3) Cara guru
mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu memberikan motivasi, membuat media
power point, menerapkan model dan metode pembelajaran yang menarik,
memberikan penjelasan yang lebih kongkrit. Siswa diperbolehkan membawa
handphone untuk mencari referensi yang dibutuhkan, serta guru memberikan tips-
tips cara menghafal atau mengingat nama-nama/istilah-istilah latin yang sulit
untuk diingat, siswa diperbolehkan untuk meminjam buku paket biologi untuk
dipelajari dirumah.

Excretory System Material in Class Xi Students of SMA Negeri 2 Konawe
Selatan, Guided By: Mr. Ir. Muragmi Gazali M. Ed and Syarif Rizalia M.Pd.
This study aims to find out: 1) To determine the level of student learning
difficulty in class XI MIPA excretory system material at SMA Negeri 2 Konawe
Selatan, 2) To determine the factors causing student learning difficulties in class
XI MIPA excretory system material at SMA Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan, 3) To
find out how teachers overcome learning difficulties faced by class XI MIPA
students at SMA Negeri 2 Konawe Selatan. This research is qualitative research.
Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation and
conclusions. The results of this study showed that: 1) The level of difficulty of
student learning excretory system material on indicators knowing the definition of
the excretory system identifying 97% of categories is not difficult, identifying
various organs in the excretory system by 47% of categories is quite difficult,
identifying the relationship between the structure and tissue of organ function in
the excretory system by 48% of categories is quite difficult, explaining the
mechanism in the excretory system by 45% categories It is quite difficult, and
explaining dysfunction in the excretory system in 59% category is a little difficult.
2) The factors that cause students to have learning difficulties consist of two
factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include
intelligence, interest and motivation to learn students. While external factors
include the school environment and family environment. 3) The way teachers
overcome student learning difficulties is to provide motivation, create power point
media, apply interesting learning models and methods, provide more concrete
explanations. Students are allowed to bring mobile phones to find the references
needed, and teachers provide tips on how to memorize or remember Latin names /
terms that are difficult to remember, students are allowed to borrow biology
textbooks to study at home.
