Abstract

ABSTRACT
Mikyal Lestari/17010101054. Islamic educational values on Mondotambe traditional
dance at Puuwonua village, kec.Lalonggasumeeto, kab.Konawe
In frame of qualitative research, the researcher intended to find the information
of traditional dance called Mondotambe at Puuwonua village, in Konawe, south east
Sulawesi. Through this research the aim was to find out how the existence of the
Mondotambe traditional dance and how the values of Islamic education of the
Mondotambe traditional dance in society. To obtain the data this study using
observation, interview, and documentation. The collected data was then edited,
classified, verified, analyzed and concluded. To analyzed the data the researcher then
was displayed, reduced, and then verified it. The result shows that the unity at the
existence of Mondotambe traditional dance is showing a complete nature on it every
movement, the harmony, the dominance and the balance. While the Islamic education
values at the Mondotambe traditional dance are occur at the movement of the dancer‟s
hands which putted in front of their chest which implies that praying to god.
