Abstract

ABSTRAK
RAHMA WATI, 2020010104074. Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa
Dengan Menggunakan Media Alat Peraga Dalam Pembelajaran Tematik IPA
Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kendari. Di bimbing Oleh Dr. Jumarddin La Fua S.SI, M. SI
dan Zainuddin S.Pd, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses
pembelajaran tematik IPA kelas V dengan menggunakan media alat peraga. 2) Untuk
mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan media alat peraga.Jenis
penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SD
Negeri 2 Kendari. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar
observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) aktivitas guru
dan siswa setelah menggunakan media alat peraga terjadi peningkatan. Hal ini sesuai
dengan hasil observasi aktivitas guru siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 61,90%
pertemuan kedua mencapai 77,27%. Siklus II pertemuan pertama 85,71% dan
pertemuan kedua mencapai 90,90%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pertemuan pertama
44,04% dan pertemuan kedua mencapai 52,38%. Siklus II pertemuan pertama 76,25%
dan siklus II mencapai 90,47%. 2) Penggunaan media alat peraga dapat meningkatkan
hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa prasiklus dalam kategori kurang denga
persentase ketuntasan 61,53% dengan rata-rata 66,92, siklus I dalam kategori baik
dengan persentase ketuntasan 74,35% dengan rata-rata sebesar 72,82 dan meningkat
pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik yaitu persentase ketuntasan 89,47% dengan
rata-rata 81,28, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA sebanyak 2 siklus
pembelajaran materi perubahan wujud benda dapat ditingkatkan melalui media alat
peraga.

by using teaching aids in science thematic learning for class V Negeri 2 Kendari.Di

This research aims to: 1) To find out how the thematic science learning process for class V uses
teaching aids. 2) To determine the increase in learning outcomes by using teaching aids. This
type of research uses classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out at SD Negeri 2
Kendari. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation sheets, tests and
documentation. The research results show that 1) the activities of teachers and students after
using teaching aids have increased. This is in accordance with the results of observations of
teacher activities in the first cycle, the first meeting was 61.90%, the second meeting reached
77.27%. Cycle II, the first meeting was 85.71% and the second meeting reached 90.90%. The
results of observing student activities at the first meeting were 44.04% and at the second
meeting reached 52.38%. Cycle II of the first meeting was 76.25% and cycle II reached 90.47%.
2) The use of teaching aids can improve student learning outcomes. Pre-cycle student learning
outcomes are in the poor category with a completion percentage of 61.53% with an average of
66.92, cycle I is in the good category with a completion percentage of 74.35% with an average
of 72.82 and increases in cycle II with a very good category, namely the percentage of
completion was 89.47% with an average of 81.28. So it can be concluded that the results of
learning science in 2 learning cycles regarding changes in the shape of objects can be improved
through teaching aids.
