Abstract
ABSTRAK
AKRI MAWANSA PRATAMA. NIM. 2020030102019. “Kebutuhan Dan
Harapan Masyarakat terhadap Program Pembinaan Moderasi Beragama Di
KUA Kecamatan Kendari Barat”. Di Bimbing Oleh: Dr. H. Samsuri S.Ag.,
S.Pd., M.Pd., dan Aminudin S.Ag, MA.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dan harapan
masyarakat terhadap program pembinaan moderasi beragama di KUA Kecamatan
Kendari Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik
pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data penyajian data dan
penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, pertama, Kebutuhan
masyarakat terhadap program moderasi beragama di KUA Kecamatan Kendari
Barat mencakup pendidikan moderasi yang komprehensif untuk penerapan
prinsip-prinsip dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dialog antar umat beragama untuk
memperkuat komunikasi, serta pengajaran nilai-nilai agama dalam konteks
masyarakat yang beragam. Masyarakat juga berharap program ini dapat
meningkatkan toleransi, kerja sama, dan saling menghormati antar umat
beragama, serta melibatkan mereka secara langsung untuk memastikan kebutuhan
dan aspirasi mereka dipertimbangkan. Kedua, KUA Kecamatan Kendari Barat
belum maksimal dalam melaksanakan program moderasi beragama. Ketiga,
Kepala KUA dan penyuluh agama di KUA Kecamatan Kendari Barat
menunjukkan respons yang positif terhadap kebutuhan dan harapan masyarakat,
menegaskan komitmen mereka dalam melaksanakan program moderasi beragama
sesuai aspirasi setempat. Respons ini mengindikasikan kesiapan lembaga untuk
menghadapi tantangan dan memenuhi harapan masyarakat melalui pendekatan
yang terencana dan komprehensif, guna menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih
inklusif dan toleran.

ABSTRACT
AKRI MAWANSA PRATAMA. NIM. 2020030102019. "Community Needs
and Expectations for the Religious Moderation Development Program in
Kua , West Kendari District". Guided by: Dr. H. Samsuri S.Ag., S.Pd.,
M.Pd., and Aminudin S.Ag., M.A
This study aims to determine the needs and expectations of the community
towards the religious moderation coaching program at the KUA of West Kendari
District. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques
are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore,
the data is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and
drawing conclusions. The results of this study are, first, the community's need for
a religious moderation program at the KUA of West Kendari District includes
comprehensive moderation education for the application of principles in everyday
life, interfaith dialogue to strengthen communication, and teaching religious
values in the context of a diverse society. The community also hopes that this
program can increase tolerance, cooperation, and mutual respect between religious
communities, and involve them directly to ensure that their needs and aspirations
are considered. Second, the KUA of West Kendari District has not been optimal in
implementing the religious moderation program. Third, the Head of KUA and
religious instructors at the KUA of West Kendari District showed a positive
response to the needs and expectations of the community, confirming their
commitment to implementing the religious moderation program according to local
aspirations. This response indicates the institution's readiness to face challenges
and meet community expectations through a planned and comprehensive
approach, in order to create a more inclusive and tolerant environment.
