Abstract
ALTAFIA NINGSI, NIM: 2020010109001. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran
Learning Cycle 5E Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Hasil
Belajar Fisika Peserta Didik Di SMA Negeri 1 Sawa (Dibimbing oleh:
Zainuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd dan Halmuniati, S.Pd., M.P)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui penerapan model
pembelajaran learning cycle 5E pada peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (2)
mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik yang diajar
menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E dan model konvensional di
SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (3) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik
yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E dan model
konvensional di SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui metode
eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group design. Sampel dalam
penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 1
sebagai kelas kontrol. Uji persyaratan analisis meliputi uji normalitas dan uji
homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji T. Hasil
penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle
5E melibatkan interaksi yang kuat antara guru dan peserta didik di setiap tahap,
guru berhasil menarik perhatian siswa pada tahap Engage, memberikan kesempatan
eksplorasi mandiri di tahap Explore, serta menjelaskan dan mendalami materi pada
tahap Explain dan Elaborate, dibuktikan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas
eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. (2) Terdapat perbedaan
kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan
model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E dengan yang diajar menggunakan model
pembelajaran konvensional, berdasarkan dari uji T hasil pengolahan data bahwa
nilai thitung = 1,8620 dan ttabel = 1,677 sehingga nilai thitung > ttabel artinya H0 ditolak
dan H1 diterima. (3) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang
diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E dengan yang diajar
menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. berdasarkan dari uji T hasil
pengolahan data bahwa nilai thitung = 1,7885 dan ttabel = 1,677 sehingga nilai thitung >
ttabel artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

5E Learning Model on Students' Problem-Solving Ability and Physics
Learning Outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa (Guided by: Zainuddin, S.Pd.,
M.Pd and Halmuniati, S.Pd., M.P)
This study aims to (1) determine the application of the 5E learning cycle
learning model to students at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (2) to find out the difference in
the problem-solving ability of students who are taught using the 5E learning cycle
learning model and the conventional model at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (3) to find out
the difference in physics learning outcomes of students who are taught using the
5E learning cycle learning model and the conventional model at SMA Negeri 1
Sawa. This research was carried out through an experimental method with a
posttest only control group design. The sample in this study is class X Science 2 as
an experimental class and class X Science 1 as a control class. The analysis
requirements test includes a normality test and a homogeneity test, as well as a
hypothesis test conducted using the T test. The results of the study show that: (1)
The application of the learning cycle 5E learning model involves strong interaction
between teachers and students at each stage, the teacher succeeds in attracting
students' attention at the Engage stage, providing opportunities for independent
exploration at the Explore stage, as well as explaining and exploring the material at
the Explain and Elaborate stages, it was proven that the average score obtained by
the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. (2) There is a
difference in the physics problem-solving ability of students who are taught using
the learning cycle 5E learning model and those taught using the conventional
learning model, based on the T test of the data processing results that the value of
tcal = 1.8620 and ttable = 1.677 so that the tcal value > ttable means that H0 is
rejected and H1 is accepted. (3) There is a difference in the physics learning
outcomes of students who are taught using the learning cycle 5E learning model
and those taught using the conventional learning model. based on the T test of the
data processing results that the value of tcal = 1.7885 and ttable = 1.677 so that the
tcal value > ttable means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
