Asriani, NIM 19010104079, Pengaruh Lingkungan Sekolah Terhadap Karakter
Siswa Di Sdn 9 Mawasangka Kab.Buton Tengah, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru
Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam
Negeri (IAIN) Kendari melalui bimbingan Raehang S.Ag, M.Pd.I dan Muhammad
Ilham S.Pd.,M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potret lingkungan sekolah di SDN 9
Mawasangka Kab.Buton Tengah, gambaran karakter siswa di SDN 9 Mawasangka
Kab.Buton Tengah dan peran sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa di
lingkungan SDN 9 Mawasangka Kab.Buton Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah
penelitian kuantitatif, Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 9 Mawasangka Kab.Buton
Tengah. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan
tehnik dokumentasi dan angket..Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV,
V dan VI yang berjumlah 97 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa yang dilakukan
berdasarkan Systematic Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini
yaitu analisis deskriptif dan inferensial, dengan lingkungan sekolah sebagai variabel
bebas dan karakter siswa sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa 1). Lingkungan sekolah di SDN 9 Mawasangka dikategorikan cukup baik, hal
ini menunjukan nilai rata-rata dari varibel x yaitu 57,21. 2). Karakter siswa di SDN 9
Mawasangka dikategorikan cukup baik, hal ini menunjukan nilai rata-rata dari varibel
y yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata perolehan 49,18. 3).lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh
terhadap karakter siswa, berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan pengujian hipotesis
dalam uji regresi linear sederhana menunjukan nilai f hitung 13,908 dengan tingkat
signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel lingkungan
sekolah berpengaruh terhadap karakter siswa. Kemudian Pada uji T menunjukan nilai
signifikansi pengaruh lingkungan sekolah (X) terhadap karakter siswa (Y) adalah
0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung 4,116 > 2,037 sehingga terdapat pengaruh lingkungan
sekolag terhadap karakter siswa . Pada uji koefisien determinasi didapatkan nilai R
square sebesar 0,244 yaitu sebsesar 24.4%.

Character at Sdn 9 Mawasangka, Central Buton Regency, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,
Kendari State Islamic Institute (IAIN) through the guidance of Raehang S.Ag, M.Pd. I
and Muhammad Ilham S.Pd., M.Pd.

This research aims to find out a portrait of the school environment at SDN 9
Mawasangka, Central Buton Regency, a description of the character of students at
SDN 9 Mawasangka, Central Buton Regency and the role of the school in shaping the
character of students in the SDN 9 Mawasangka environment, Central Buton
Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted
at SDN 9 Mawasangka, Central Buton Regency. The research method used is a
quantitative descriptive method with documentation and questionnaire techniques.
The population in this study was all classes IV, V and VI, totaling 97 students with a
sample of 32 students which was carried out based on Systematic Random Sampling.
The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive and inferential analysis,
with the school environment as the independent variable and student character as the
dependent variable. The research results show that 1). The school environment at
SDN 9 Mawasangka is categorized as quite good, this shows the average value of the
x variable is 57.21. 2). The character of students at SDN 9 Mawasangka is
categorized as quite good, this shows the average value of the y variable, namely with
an average score of 49.18. 3). The school environment influences student character,
based on the results of data analysis by testing hypotheses in a simple linear
regression test showing a calculated f value of 13.908 with a significance level of
0.001 < 0.05, so it can be said that school environmental variables influence student
character. Then the T test shows that the significance value of the influence of the
school environment (X) on student character (Y) is 0.000 < 0.05 and the calculated t
value is 4.116 > 2.037 so that there is an influence of the school environment on
student character. In the coefficient of determination test, an R square value of 0.244
was obtained, namely 24,44%.
