Abstract
ABSTRAK
Leony Nur Khovifah, NIM. 2020010107007. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran
Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Terpadu Di
SMPN 5 Kendari, Program Studi Tadris IPA, Fakultas Tarbiyah Dan Ilmu
Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kendari. Dibimbing Oleh:

Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw belum digunakan pada mata
pelajaran IPA sehingga menjadi alasan penelitian ini dilakukan. Penelitian ini
dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran
kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di SMPN 5 Kendari; (2)
Mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil belajar IPA kelas eksperimen dan kelas
kontrol sebelum diberikan perlakuan; (3) Mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil
belajar IPA sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen; (4)
Mengetahui perbedaan antara hasil belajar IPA kelas eksperimen dan kelas
kontrol sesudah diberikan perlakuan; (5) Mengetahui penerapan model
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar
peserta didik kelas VIII pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di SMPN 5 Kendari.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi
eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII
SMPN 5 Kendari. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol
dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan
yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan : (1) Berdasarkan hasil lembar pengamatan observasi guru dan
peserta didik bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw mengalami
peningkatan persentase dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik di setiap pertemuan;
(2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan sebelum perlakuan
(Pre-test) pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol; (3) Terdapat perbedaan antara
hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan di kelas
eksperimen; 4) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan setelah perlakuan
(Post-test) pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol; (5) Berdasarkan hasil uji N-
Gain, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw cukup efektif dalam
meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII pada pembelajaran IPA
Terpadu di SMPN 5 Kendari.

The jigsaw type cooperative learning model has not been used in science
subjects, which is the reason this research was conducted. This research was
conducted with the aim of (1) Knowing the application of the jigsaw type
cooperative learning model in Integrated Science learning at SMPN 5 Kendari; (2)
Knowing the differences between the science learning outcomes of the
experimental class and the control class before being given treatment; (3)
Knowing the difference between science learning outcomes before and after being
given treatment in the experimental class; (4) Knowing the difference between the
science learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class after
being given treatment; (5) Knowing that the implementation of the jigsaw type
cooperative learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of
class VIII students in Integrated Science learning at SMPN 5 Kendari; This
research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The
population in this study were all class VIII students at SMPN 5 Kendari. The
sample for this research was class VIII B as the control class and class VIII C as
the experimental class. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis
techniques and inferential analysis techniques. The research results show: (1)
Based on the results of the teacher and student observation sheets, the jigsaw type
cooperative learning model experienced an increase in the percentage in the good
and very good categories at each meeting. (2) There are no significant differences
in learning outcomes before treatment (Pre-test) in the experimental class and
control class. (3) There are differences between students' learning outcomes
before and after being given treatment in the experimental class. 4) There are
significant differences in learning outcomes after treatment (Post-test) in the
experimental class and control class. (5) Based on the results of the N-Gain test,
the implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model is quite
effective in improving the learning outcomes of class VIII students in Integrated
Science learning at SMPN 5 Kendari.
