Novi Ramdayani. Nim 2021050101012. “Sertifikasi Halal Produk
Makanan Jalur Self Declare pada Halal Center IAIN Kendari”.
Melalui pembimbing bapak Dr. Abdul Wahid Mongkito S. SI.,
M.EI, dan Dr. Munadi Idris, M.E

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses sertifikatasi halal
produk makanan jalur self declare pada halal center IAIN Kendari.
Mencangkup bagaimana sertifikasi halal jalur self declare yang
dilakukan oleh halal center IAIN Kendari dan tantangan yang dihadapi
oleh halal center IAIN Kendari dalam melakukan sertifikasi halal jalur
self declare. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif
kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data, melalui observasi,
wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi
data, display data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Data yang di periksa
menggunakan tringulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
halal center IAIN Kendari berperan aktif dalam mendukung percepatan
sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil melalui jalur self
declare, khususnya di wilayah Sulawesi Tenggara. Peran ini
mencangkup edukasi, pendampingan, serta verifikasi dokumen pelaku
usaha. Pelaksanaan jalur self declare ini masih menghadapi tantangan
seperti kurangnya pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap prinsip sistem
jaminan produk halal. Serta pelaku usaha telah mendapatkan
pengalaman dan Pelajaran tentang pentingnya sertifiaksi halal.
Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas pendamping
halal serta penguatan sosialisasi kepada pelaku UMK mengenai
pentingnya sertifikasi halal.

This study aims to analyze the halal certification process for food
products through the self-declare pathway at the IAIN Kendari halal
center. Covers how the halal certification of the self-declare pathway is
carried out by the IAIN Kendari halal center and the challenges faced
by the IAIN Kendari halal center in carrying out halal certification
through the self-declare pathway. The research method used is
descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, through
observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried
out by data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The data
examined uses source triangulation. The results of the study indicate
that the IAIN Kendari halal center plays an active role in supporting
the acceleration of halal certification for micro and small business
actors through the self-declare pathway, especially in the Southeast
Sulawesi region. This role includes education, assistance, and
verification of business actor documents. The implementation of this
self-declare pathway still faces challenges such as a lack of
understanding of business actors regarding the principles of the halal
product assurance system. And business actors have gained experience
and lessons about the importance of halal certification. This study
recommends increasing the capacity of halal assistants and
strengthening socialization to MSME actors regarding the importance
of halal certification.
