Implementasi Program Kebersihan Lingkungan Sekolah Di SMP Negeri 9
Kendari”. Pembimbing Hilda Ayu Melvi Amalia, M.Sc dan Hj. Rosmini,
S.Si., M.Pd

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap
implementasi program kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, bagaimana partisipasi
siswa dalam implementasi program kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, faktor-faktor
yang mempengaruhi persepsi siswa terhadap implementasi program kebersihan di
lingkungan sekolah, sejauh mana siswa memahami tujuan dan manfaat program
kebersihan lingkungan sekolah dan apa saja hambatan yang di hadapi siswa dalam
menjaga kebersihan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif
deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan
dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru IPA/Biologi, petugas kebersihan, serta
siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Secara umum, persepsi siswa
terhadap program kebersihan adalah positif secara kognitif. Siswa menilai
program-program yang dijalankan sekolah (piket, Jumat Bersih, lomba kebersihan
kelas) efektif dan merupakan langkah yang tepat untuk menciptakan lingkungan
belajar yang sehat, nyaman, dan kondusif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tujuan
program telah tersosialisasikan dengan baik. 2) Partisipasi siswa dalam program
kebersihan sekolah masih didominasi oleh faktor eksternal (jadwal dan
pengawasan) sehingga hanya sebatas kepatuhan rutin dan bersifat formalitas, yang
ditandai dengan rendahnya inisiatif pribadi dan perlunya penguatan konsistensi,
keteladanan guru, dan integrasi pembelajaran agar berkembang menjadi budaya
kebersihan yang berkelanjutan. 3) Persepsi siswa dibentuk oleh beberapa faktor,
yaitu kebiasaan dari rumah, teman sebaya, guru, dan kondisi fisik sekolah, yang
menentukan konstruksi kesadaran kolektif terhadap kebersihan. 4) Pemahaman
siswa terhadap tujuan dan manfaat program kebersihan sekolah sudah cukup
komprehensif, yang mencakup aspek kesehatan, kenyamanan, pembentukan
karakter, tanggung jawab sosial, hingga kesadaran ekologis. 5) Hambatan yang
dihadapi siswa dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah antara lain
kurangnya kesadaran individu, lemahnya pengawasan dari guru, padatnya jadwal
kegiatan, hingga kesulitan menegur teman sebaya.

Implementation of the School Environmental Cleanliness Program at SMP

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation
of the school environmental cleanliness program, how students participate in the
implementation of the school environmental cleanliness program, factors that
influence students' perceptions of the implementation of the cleanliness program
in the school environment, the extent to which students understand the goals and
benefits of the school environmental cleanliness program and what obstacles
students face in maintaining school cleanliness. This study used a descriptive
qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation,
interviews and documentation of the principal, science/biology teachers, cleaning
staff, and students. The results of the study indicate that: 1) In general, students'
perceptions of the cleanliness program are cognitively positive. Students consider
the programs run by the school (cleanliness duty, Clean Friday, class cleanliness
competition) effective and are the right steps to create a healthy, comfortable, and
conducive learning environment. This indicates that the program's objectives have
been well socialized. 2) Student participation in the school cleanliness program is
still dominated by external factors (schedules and supervision) so that it is only
limited to routine compliance and is formal, which is characterized by low
personal initiative and the need to strengthen consistency, teacher role models,
and learning integration to develop into a sustainable cleanliness culture. 3)
Student perceptions are shaped by several factors, including home habits, peers,
teachers, and the physical condition of the school, which determine the
construction of collective awareness of cleanliness. 4) Students' understanding of
the goals and benefits of the school cleanliness program is quite comprehensive,
encompassing aspects of health, comfort, character building, social responsibility,
and ecological awareness. 5) Barriers faced by students in maintaining a clean
school environment include a lack of individual awareness, weak teacher
supervision, busy activity schedules, and difficulty admonishing peers.
