NUZLIA RAMADANI NIM: 2021050101166. Program Studi
Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam IAIN Kendari. Analisis faktor faktor
yang mempengaruhiKemiskinan Masyarakat pesisir Studi Kasus
Desa Langara Bajo, KecWawonii Barat Kabupaten Konawe

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis
faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kemiskinan di kalangan masyarakat
pesisir Desa Langara Bajo, Kecamatan Wawonii Barat, Kabupaten
Konawe Kepulauan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah
pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan
observasi partisipatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa
kemiskinan di desa ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor utama, antara
lain ketergantungan tinggi pada sektor perikanan yang sangat rentan
terhadap cuaca buruk, keterbatasan akses pendidikan, kondisi
infrastruktur yang tidak memadai, serta kurangnya dukungan kebijakan
yang efektif dari pemerintah. Selain itu, faktor sosial dan budaya,
seperti tradisi kerja yang cenderung konservatif dan pengelolaan
keuangan yang kurang baik, juga turut memperburuk keadaan ekonomi
masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan adanya diversifikasi
sumber pendapatan, peningkatan infrastruktur, akses pendidikan yang
lebih baik, serta perbaikan fasilitas perikanan untuk mendukung
kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir di Desa Langara Bajo.

Factors Influencing Poverty Among Coastal Communities (A Case
Study in Langara Bajo Village, West Wawonii District, Konawe

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors contributing to
poverty among the coastal community in Langara Bajo Village, West
Wawonii District, Konawe Islands Regency. A qualitative research
approach was employed, using in-depth interviews and participatory
observation techniques. The findings reveal several primary causes of
poverty in the village. These include a high dependency on the fisheries
sector, which is highly vulnerable to adverse weather conditions,
limited access to education, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of
effective policy support from the government. In addition, social and
cultural factors also play a role in worsening the community's economic
condition, particularly conservative work traditions and poor financial
management practices. The study recommends diversifying income
sources, improving infrastructure, expanding access to education, and
upgrading fisheries facilities to enhance the welfare of the coastal
population in Langara Bajo Village.
