Abstract

ABSTRAK
Moh. Agil, NIM 2020010110012. Identifikasi Kesalahan Konseptual Dan
Prosedural Siswa Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Sistem Persamaan
Linear Dua Variable (SPLDV). Dibimbing oleh: Dedyerianto S.Si, M.Si dan
Drs. H. La Boy, M.Pd
Penelitian ini membahas tentang identifikasi kesalahan dalam
menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) kesalahan konseptual yang dilakukan siswa dalam
menyelesaikan soal matematika yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear
dua variabel. 2) bagaimana kesalahan prosedural yang dilakukan siswa dalam
menyelesaikan soal matematika yang berkaitan dengan sistem persamaan linear
dua variabel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif
kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes
berupa tes uraian sebanyak 4 item soal dan wawancara untuk memastikan
kesalahan yang dialami siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan
konseptual lebih dominan terjadi dibandingkan kesalahan prosedural. Kesalahan
konseptual meliputi kesalahan tidak memahami konsep SPLDV, kesalahan dalam
menggunakan rumus. Sementara itu, kesalahan prosedural meliputi kesalahan
dalam langkah-langkah penyelesaian, seperti substitusi, eliminasi, serta kesalahan
dalam operasi aljabar. Kesalahan paling banyak ditemukan pada konseptual dan
prosedural di soal nomor 1 dan 3.

Errors of Students in Solving Story Problems of Two Variable Linear
Equation Systems (SPLDV). Supervised by: Dedyerianto S.Si, M.Si and Drs.
H. La Boy, M.Pd
This study discusses the identification of errors in solving story problems
of two variable linear equation systems. This study aims to determine 1)
conceptual errors made by students in solving mathematics problems related to
two variable linear equation systems. 2) how procedural errors are made by
students in solving mathematics problems related to two variable linear equation
systems. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The data
collection method in this study is a test method in the form of a descriptive test of
4 items and interviews to ensure the errors experienced by students. The results of
the study showed that conceptual errors were more dominant than procedural
errors. Conceptual errors include errors in not understanding the SPLDV concept,
errors in using formulas. Meanwhile, procedural errors include errors in the
solution steps, such as substitution, elimination, and errors in algebraic operations.
The most common errors found conceptual and procedural in questions 1 and 3.
