Abstract

Rodiman, Nim 2021010101096, Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Untuk
Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan
Agama Islam Kelas (XI IPS) SMAN 1 Kulisusu Utara (Dibimbing oleh Raehang, S.
Ag., M.Pd.I dan Tandri Patih, M.Si)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis
siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam pada siswa kelas (XI IPS)
SMAN 1 Kulisusu Utara dengan menggunakan model problem based learning.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berbasis tindakan kelas, yang terdiri
dari empat tahap mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.
Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas (XI IPS) SMAN 1 Kulisusu
Utara yang berjumlah 22 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak II siklus yang
masing-masing siklus dua kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil pembelajaran dari
sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan setelah
menggunakan model problem based learning maka diperoleh beberapa hasil tes
pada siswa kelas (XI IPS) SMAN 1 Kulisusu Utara. Adapun hasil tes siswa pada
pra siklus adalah 27% dengan jumlah siswa pada kategori tuntas mencapai 6 orang.
Pada siklus I sebesar 59% dengan jumlah siswa pada kategori tuntas mencapai 13
orang. Selanjutnya pada siklus II sebesar 77% dengan jumlah siswa pada kategori
tuntas mencapai 17 orang. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model problem based
learning mampu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam
pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam pada siswa kelas (XI IPS) SMAN 1 Kulisusu
Utara.

Problem To Improve Students' Critical Thinking Ability In The Islamic Religion
Education Class (XI IPS) SMAN 1 Kulisusu North (Guided by Raehang, S.Ag. M.Pd
and Tandri Patih, M.Si)
The study aims to enhance students' critical thinking ability in islamic
religious education learning (xi ips) sman 1 kulisusu north using the model based
learning problem. The study uses a class action based method of study, which
consists of four stages beginning with planning, execution, observation and
reflection. The subject of this study is the whole west (xi ips) sman 1 kulisusu north
of 22 students. This research is conducted as many as ii cycles in which each cycle
twice encounters. Based on the learning outcomes befor using the problem based
learning model and after using the problem based learning model, several test
results were obtained for class (xi ips) students at sman 1 kulisusu north. As for the
results of the student test on the precycle, it's 27% with the number of students in
the completed category of 6. On cycle I at 59% with the number of students in the
category down to 13. Next on cycle ii at 77% with the number of students in the
category down to 17. Therefore, it can be said that the model of the problem based
learning is able to increase the students' critical thinking ability in islamic religious
education in the west (xi ips) sman 1 kulisusu north students.
