Abstract

ABSTRAK
Abdul Efwan Fatamal NIM. 2021010101163, Dampak Penerapan Full Day
School Terhadap Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran PAI Di SMP Negeri 4 Kendari.
(Dibimbing Oleh : Dr. H. Supriyanto M.A. dan Sufiani S. Ag., M. Pd.)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan full day school di SMP
Negeri 4 Kendari serta dampaknya terhadap siswa dalam pembelajaran
Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif
deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara,
dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap: pengumpulan data,
reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data terdiri atas
kepala sekolah, 2 guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan 6 siswa. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa SMP Negeri 4 Kendari menerapkan full day school dari hari
Senin hingga Kamis, mulai pukul 07.00 sampai 15.00 WITA. Pada hari Jumat,
kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung dari pukul 07.00 sampai 11.20 WITA. Hari
Sabtu tidak ada kegiatan belajar maupun ekstrakurikuler. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler
dilaksanakan setelah jam sekolah, yaitu pukul 15.00–17.00 WITA. Dampak dari
penerapan full day school adalah sebagai berikut: Dampak positif: peningkatan
aspek akademik siswa, kedisiplinan, pembentukan karakter religius, penguatan
aspek sosial dan emosional. Siswa terbiasa salat Zuhur, Ashar berjamaah, adzan,
serta membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik. Dampak negatif: kelelahan fisik,
kurangnya waktu istirahat, menurunnya motivasi belajar terutama pada siang hari,
rasa kantuk, serta berdampak ekonomi bagi orang tua.

Kata Kunci : Dampak Full Day School, Pendidikan Agama Islam.

Implementation on Students in Islamic Religious Education Learning at SMP
Negeri 4 Kendari (Supervised by: Dr. H. Supriyanto, M.A. and Sufiani, S.Ag.,
M.Pd.)

This study aims to examine the implementation of the full day school system at
SMP Negeri 4 Kendari and its impact on students in learning Islamic Religious
Education (PAI). The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data
were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data
analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation,
and drawing conclusions. The data sources consisted of the school principal, 2
Islamic Religious Education teachers, and 6 students. The results of the study
show that SMP Negeri 4 Kendari implements the full day school system from
Monday to Thursday, from 07:00 to 15:00 Central Indonesian Time. On Fridays,
teaching and learning activities take place from 07:00 to 11:20. There are no
academic or extracurricular activities on Saturdays. Extracurricular activities are
conducted after school hours, from 15:00 to 17:00. The impacts of full day school
implementation are as follows: Positive impacts: improvement in students’
academic performance, increased discipline, development of religious character,
enhancement of social and emotional aspects. Students are accustomed to
performing Zuhr and Asr prayers in congregation, calling the adhan, and reading
the Qur'an properly. Negative impacts: physical fatigue, lack of rest time,
decreased motivation to learn especially in the afternoon, drowsiness during
lessons, and economic impact on families.
