Abstract

Nunita. 18010104050. Peningkatan Kreativitas Peserta didik Melalui
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada Mata Pelajaran
Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan (SBK) di Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bira Kab. Buton
Utara. Dibimbing Oleh: Dr. H. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd dan Muhammad Ilham,
S.Pd., M.Pd.
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kreativitas Peserta Didik
Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bira yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang belum
melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model Discovery Learning pada
mata pelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bira dan
dampak pembelajaran dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian
ini merupakan penelitian mix method, merupakan suatu langkah penelitian dengan
menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian
ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bira sebanyak 43 orang yang
terdiri dari dua kelas, yakni kelas V-A dan Kelas V-B. Sampel penelitian ini
berjumlah 43 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen
dan kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalu observasi dan tes
unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Kegiatan pembelajaran model
Discovery Learning dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam enam tahap, yakni;
pemberian rangsangan (stimulasi), identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data,
menganalisis data, pembuktian atau verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Peserta
didik aktif dan tenang dalam kelas ketika proses pembelajaran. (2) Terdapat
perbedaan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan model
pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran seni budaya dan keterampilan
terhadap pengembangan kreativitas peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bira. Nilai
rata-rata N-Gain kelompok eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran
Discovery Learning yakni 0,71 lebih besar dari rata-rata skor N-Gain pada
kelompok kontrol yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional sebesar
0,52, sehingga model pembelajaran Discovery Learning lebih meningkatkan
kreativitas siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Implementation of the Discovery Learning Learning Model in Arts, Culture
and Skills Subjects in Class V of SD Negeri 1 Bira Buton Utara Regency.

This research is motivated by the low creativity of Class V students of SD
Negeri 1 Bira which is caused by learning that has not actively involved students in
the learning process. The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the
Discovery Learning model to the subject of arts, culture and skills in grade V of
SD Negeri 1 Bira and the impact of learning in developing students' creativity. This
research is a mixed method research, which is a research step by combining
qualitative research and quantitative research. The population of this study is all
students of class V of SD Negeri 1 Bira as many as 43 people consisting of two
classes, namely class V-A and Class V-B. The sample of this study amounted to 43
people who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the
control group. The data of this study was collected through observation and
performance tests. The results of this study are: (1) The learning activities of the
Discovery Learning model in this study are carried out in six stages, namely;
providing stimulation, identifying problems, collecting data, analyzing data,
proving or verifying, and drawing conclusions. Students are active and calm in class
during the learning process. (2) There is a difference between the application of the
Discovery Learning learning model and the conventional learning model in the
subject of arts and culture and skills to the development of creativity of grade V
students of SD Negeri 1 Bira. The average N-Gain score of the experimental group
taught with the Discovery Learning learning model was 0.71 greater than the
average N-Gain score in the control group taught with the conventional learning
model of 0.52, so that the Discovery Learning learning model further increased
students' creativity compared to the conventional learning models.
