Abstract

ABSTRAK
Yulia Cindrani Rifka, NIM 2021010101215, Implementasi Nilai-Nilai
Moderasi Beragama Pada Siswa SMP 12 Konawe Selatan (Dibimbing oleh
Dr. H. Abbas, S.Ag., MA dan Dr. H. Supriyanto, M.Ag.)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman, bentuk
implementasi, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat moderasi beragama di
SMP Negeri 12 Konawe Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan
kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan
dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mengenai
moderasi beragama telah terinternalisasi dengan baik melalui dua perspektif: guru
memahami moderasi sebagai konsep wasathiyah yang mencakup komitmen
kebangsaan, sementara siswa menerjemahkannya dalam perilaku praktisimplementatif

seperti sikap tidak pilih-pilih teman. Implementasi nilai moderasi
dilakukan melalui integrasi dalam materi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan
metode pembelajaran aktif (role playing dan diskusi), serta penguatan budaya
sekolah melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, pembiasaan harian, dan gerakan antiperundungan.
Faktor
pendukung
utama
meliputi
kebijakan
sekolah
yang
inklusif,

keteladanan

guru (uswah hasanah), dan kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat.
Namun, proses ini menghadapi tantangan berupa paparan konten hoaks atau
radikalisme di media sosial, serta adanya kesenjangan (gap) antara nilai inklusif
sekolah dengan pola asuh eksklusif di lingkungan keluarga. Secara keseluruhan,
SMP Negeri 12 Konawe Selatan telah berhasil menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan
yang moderat dengan menjadikan keberagaman sebagai kekuatan sosial untuk

ABSTRACT

Moderation Values Among Students at SMPN 12 Konawe Selatan (Supervised
by Dr. H. Abbas, S.Ag., MA and Dr. H. Supriyanto, M.Ag.)
This study aims to describe the understanding, forms of implementation, as
well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of religious moderation at SMP Negeri
12 Konawe Selatan. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data
collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The
results indicate that the understanding of religious moderation has been wellinternalized

through two perspectives: teachers understand moderation as the
concept of wasathiyah, which includes national commitment, while students
translate it into practical-implementative behaviors, such as not being selective in
choosing friends. The implementation of moderation values is carried out through
integration into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials using active learning
methods (role-playing and discussion), as well as strengthening school culture
through extracurricular activities, daily habits, and anti-bullying movements. The
primary supporting factors include inclusive school policies, the exemplary
behavior of teachers (uswah hasanah), and local wisdom within the community.
However, this process faces challenges such as exposure to hoax content or
radicalism on social media, as well as a gap between the school's inclusive values
and exclusive parenting styles within the family environment. Overall, SMP Negeri
12 Konawe Selatan has successfully created a moderate educational ecosystem by
transforming diversity into a social strength to maintain unity.
