Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) To determine the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the achievement of learning Arabic students at Madrasah Aliyah Fastabiqul Khaerat Ddi Ladongi Kolaka Timur. 2) To find out the relationship between the ability to memorize the Qur'an and Arabic learning achievement of Madrasah Aliyah Fastabiqul Khaerat Ddi Ladongi students. This research is a quantitative approach correlation research. The population of this research is the students of Madrasah Aliyah Fastabiqul Khaerat. The sample in this study was 55 students of madrasa aliyah fastabiqul khaerat. Data collection methods consist of questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaires are used to measure the ability to memorize the Koran and documentation to collect data on student scores. The analytical technique used to test the hypothesis is the product moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the ability to memorize the Qur'an and the Arabic learning achievement of the students of Madrasah Aliyah Fastabiqul Khaerat Ddi Ladongi. Through Product Moment correlation analysis, the value of rcount is 0.690, while the price of rtable with N=55 at a significance level of 5% is 0.266. So the value of rcount is greater than the value of rtable (0.690 > 0.266) so that the relationship between memorization ability and Arabic learning achievement of madrasah aliyah fastabiqul khaerat students is positive and significant.
