Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode penyajian, persamaan dan
perbedaan penafsiran dalam kitab Tafsir Nusantara Konvensional dan Tafsir at-Tanwir
tentang sifat-sifat orang munafik dalam QS. al-Baqarah/2: 204-206. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan
pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Dalam melakukan analisis, peneliti
mengimplementasikan teori penyajian tafsir yang dikemukakan oleh Islah Gusmian dan
pendekatan komparatif tafsir yang digagas oleh Nashruddin Baidan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga tafsir ini memiliki unsur kesamaan dan
perbedaan dalam menafsirkan QS. al-Baqarah/2: 204-206. Pertama,persamaan dari
ketiga tafsir tersebut adalah sama-sama menafsirkan bahwa sifat-sifat orang munafik
terdiri dari seorang yang pandai bermain kata dan bermulut manis, sering bersumpah
atas nama Allah Swt, melakukan kerusakan, bangga dengan dosa-dosa yang dilakukan
dan enggan menerima nasihat. Kedua, perbedaannya terletak pada penafsiran aladdul
khishām, di mana Tafsir al-Azhar memaknainya sebagai musuh yang paling jahat.
Sedangkan Tafsir al-Mishbah dan Tafsir at-Tanwir mengartikannya sebagai penentang
keras kebenaran. selain itu, penafsiran tentang liyufsida, Tafsir al-Mishbah menjelaskan
bentuk kerusakan yang dimaksud adalah melecehkan wanita atau istri-istri dan merusak
generasi muda. Sedangkan kedua tafsir lainnya menjelaskan bentuk kerusakan yang
lebih luas daripada itu. Kemudian, di akhir ayat ini dijelaskan tentang hukuman bagi
orang-orang munafik di dunia dan akhirat.
Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sepatutnya umat Islam sekarang ini senantiasa
melakukan intropeksi untuk dapat mengantisipasi sifat-sifat munafik masuk ke dalam
diri mereka, karena sifat ini dapat menjangkit pada setiap golongan manusia. Oleh sebab
itu, dibutuhkan peran dari berbagai pihak untuk membina umat dalam mencegah sifat�sifat munafik dan terhindar dari hukuman Allah di dunia dan akhirat.

Study it aims to analyze the method of presentation, similarities and differences in
interpretation in the book of Conventional and Archipelago TafsirTafsir at-Tanwir about
the characteristics of hypocrites in QS. al-Baqarah/2: 204-206. This research is a
qualitative research with a type of library research that uses a descriptive analysis
approach. In conducting the analysis, the researcher implements the interpretation
presentation theory put forward by Islah Gusmian and the comparative interpretation
approach initiated byNashruddin Baidan.
The results of the study show that these three interpretations have similarities and
differences in interpreting the QS. al-Baqarah/2: 204-206.First,The similarity of the
three interpretations is that they both interpret that the characteristics of a hypocrite
consist of someone who is good at playing with words and sweet-mouthed, often swears
in the name of Allah SWT, does damage, is proud of the sins he has committed and is
reluctant to accept advice. Second, the difference lies in interpretationaladdul
khisham,whereTafsir al-Azhar interpret it as the worst enemy. WhereasTafsir al�Mishbahand Tafsir at-Tanwir interprets it as a staunch opponent of the truth. in addition,
the interpretation ofit sucks, Tafsir al-Mishbah explains the form of damage in question
is harassing women or wives and damaging the younger generation. While the other two
interpretations explain a broader form of damage than that. Then, at the end of this
verse, it is explained about the punishment for hypocrites in this world and the hereafter.
The implication of this research is that today's Muslims should always do introspection
to be able to anticipate hypocritical traits that enter into them, because this trait can
infect every class of human beings. Therefore, it takes the role of various parties to
guide the people in preventing hypocrisy and avoiding God's punishment in this world
and the hereafter.
