Hendra Setiawan NIM 18030101042, Relevansi Pilihan Konsentrasi Program
Studi Terhadap Profesi (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa/Alumni Program Studi
Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam IAIN Kendari) dibimbing oleh Sitti
Fauziah M, S.Pd.I, M.Pd. Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam,
2023.
Pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting dalam kehidupan, dan setiap
manusia berhak mendapatkan pendidikan untuk mengembangkan seluruh potensi
kemanusiaan ke arah yang positive. Penelitian ini menekankan profil alumni yang
sangat diperlukan untuk memperoleh gambaran nyata tentang keberadaan alumni
suatu prodi yang hasilnya dapat digunakan sebagai database dan indikator
ketercapaian tujuan jurusan /prodi dan sekaligus sebagai bahan kajian untuk
melakukan review kurikulum, serta memonitor dan mengevaluasi kinerja civitas
akademika Program Studi KPI Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah.
Berdasarkan hal tersebut penenliti tertarik ingin mengetahui kelengkapan
informasi tentang profil alumni Program Studi KPI Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab
dan Dakwah. dalam penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui apa saja peluang
kerja Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam. dan Untuk mengetahui
seberapa relevansi antara konsentrasi Program Studi dengan profesi kelulusan.
penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan
pendekatan kuantitatif, yaitu pendekatan yang menekankan pada angka yang
diambil dari angket yang disebar ke responden. Penggunaaan pendekatan
kuantitatif dikarenakan pada penelitian ini penerapan analisisnya pada data-data
angka yang diolah dengan metode statistika, yaitu data-data kuantitatif yang
dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran.
hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab rumusan masalah peluang kerja
program studi komunikasi dan penyiaran islam serta seberpa relevan antara
konsentrasi program studi dengan profesi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan
pembahasan yang telah diuraikan pada relevansi pilihan konsentrasi dalam
penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua variabel, yaitu variabel profesi dan variabel
konsentrasi dalam program studi komunikasi dan penyiaran islam, maka dapat
diartikan bahwa hasilnya tidak relevan antara konsentrasi program studi dengan
profesi dikarenakan profesi lebih mengacuh pada pengabdian diri dari suatu
jabatan atau pelayanan terhadap pekerjaan sedangkan konsentrasi itu sendiri lebih
memusatkan perhatian terhadap persoalan yang sedang dihadapi.

Education is an important thing in life, and every human being has the
right to get education to develop all human potential in a positive direction. This
research emphasizes the profile of alumni which is very necessary to obtain a real
picture of the whereabouts of alumni of a study program whose results can be
used as a database and indicator of achievement of departmental/study program
objectives and at the same time as study material for conducting curriculum
reviews, as well as monitoring and evaluating the performance of the KPI Study
Program academic community. Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah. Based
on this, the researcher is interested in knowing the completeness of the
information about the alumni profile of the KPI Study Program, the Ushuluddin
Adab and Da'wah Faculty. in this study aims to find out what are the job
opportunities of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program.
and To find out how relevant the concentration of the Study Program is with the
graduation profession.
This study uses a descriptive method using a quantitative approach, namely an
approach that emphasizes the numbers taken from the questionnaire distributed to
the respondents. The use of a quantitative approach is due to the fact that in this
study the application of the analysis was to numerical data processed by
statistical methods, namely quantitative data collected through measurement.
The results of this study are to answer the formulation of the problem of job
opportunities in the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program
and how relevant the concentration of the study program is to the profession.
Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described on the
relevance of the choice of concentration in this study conducted with two
variables, namely the professional variable and the concentration variable in the
Islamic communication and broadcasting study program, it can be interpreted
that the results are irrelevant between the concentration of the study program and
the profession because the profession is more refers to the dedication of a position
or service to work while the concentration itself is more focused on the problem at
hand.
