Abstract

(1) Laea village is one of the villages located in Poleang Selatan district, Bombana
Regency where most of the people are farmers and micro small and medium
enterprises (UMKM) such as bricks with the existence of brick production activities
in Laea village south Poleang District it is seen as being able to improve the
community’s economy because the existence of brick production activities is able to
provide job opportunities to the community in addition the creation of job
opportunities through brick is able to ambrace the through brick production in
increasing people’s income from an Islamic economic perspective, (2) this study aims
to determine the production of bricks in increasing community income in the
perspective of Islamic economics in Laea village south Poleang District Bombana
regency this study aims to determine the brick production system in improving the
community’s economy as well as an Islamic economic review of brick production, (3)
this type of research is descriptive qualitative, the data collection techniques used are
through observation, interviews and documentation. As for checking the validity of
the researcher’s data using triangulation. The brick production system carried out in
Laea village in carrying out its production activities using a modern production
system, (4) the results showed that the production of bricks was able to help the
aconomy and increase people’s income. Judging from the income as much as IDR
53.450.000/month and net income as much as IDR 7.000.000/month. The production
of bricks in the Islamic economy, production activities are a fundamental principle in
Islamic economics. Based on the principles and goals of production carried out by
brick producers in the village of Laea, it is in accordance with production in the
Islamic economy.
