Students' Interest in Learning Science in Class IV SDN 1 Labalawa Bau-Bau

The aims of this study are to (1) determine the feasibility of science
teaching aids at SDN 1 Labalawa, (2) find out the learning interest of students in
fourth grade students of SDN 1 Labalawa, (3) determine the effect of the
feasibility of teaching aids on interest in learning natural sciences ( IPA) in fourth
grade students of SDN 1 Labalawa. This research includes survey research with a
quantitative approach, data collection is carried out through the help of
questionnaires or questionnaires distributed to the sample class with a sample of
20 students. The results showed (1) the feasibility of teaching aids in class IV SDN
1 Labalawa in science lessons obtained an average value of 4.0985 with the
highest percentage value being in the indicators of the ease and clarity of
teaching aids of 19.59%. The teaching aids that are commonly used are pictures
that contain examples from everyday life and are easy for students to understand.
(2) Students' interest in learning after using teaching aids in class IV SDN 1
Labalawa science lessons is in the medium category with a percentage value of
50%. Students' interest in learning is shown by students by having a sense of
interest, pleasure and focus on learning (3) The output results of the calculation
of the hypothesis are known to have a significant value of 0.021 which is smaller
than the probability of 0.05 (0.021 0.05), so it can be concluded that H0 is
rejected. and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of the feasibility
of teaching aids on students' interest in learning
