Abstract

Nurjanah, NIM. 2021040202029, Pengaruh Hukuman terhadap Kedisiplinan dan Prestasi Belajar Santri di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Amanah Baubau, (Dibimbing oleh: Dr. La Hadisi, M.Pd.I dan Dr. Aris Try Andreas Putra, M.Pd)
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kuantitatif bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Hukuman terhadap Kedisiplinan dan Prestasi Belajar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Amanah Baubau selama 3 (tiga) bulan sejak November 2022 sampai Februari 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 589, sementara itu sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi klasik, analisis data deskriptif dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Penerapan hukuman berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan santri. Nilai t hitung pemberian hukuman (X) terhadap kedisiplinan (Y) adalah 1,706, artinya, t hitung > t tabel (1,706 > 1,67) bermakna bahwa pemberian hukuman (X) berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplinan (Y) secara positif di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al Amanah Baubau. 2) Penerapan hukuman berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar santri. Nilai t hitung pemberian hukuman (X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Z) adalah 3,161, artinya, t hitung > t tabel (3,161 > 1,67) bermakna bahwa pemberian hukuman (X) berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Z) secara positif. 3) Kedisiplinan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar santri. Nilai t hitung pemberian hukuman (Y) mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa (Z) adalah 5,028, artinya, t hitung > t tabel (5,028 > 1,67) bermakna bahwa kedisiplinan (Y) berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Z) secara positif. 4) Kedisiplinan memediasi pengaruh penerapan hukuman terhadap prestasi belajar santri. Nilai pengaruh langsung dari pemberian hukuman (X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Z), yakni 0,283 > lebih besar daripada nilai pengaruh tidak langsung dari pemberian hukuman (X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Z) melalui kedisiplinan (Y), yakni 0,072 bermakna kedisiplinan (Y) memediasi pengaruh positif antara pemberian hukuman (X) terhadap Prestasi belajar siswa (Z).

Nurjanah, NIM. 2021040202029, Effect of Punishment on Discipline and Student Achievement at the Al-Amanah Modern Islamic Boarding School Baubau, (Supervised by: Dr. La Hadisi, M.Pd.I and Dr. Aris Try Andreas Putra, M.Pd)
This study uses a quantitative approach aimed at analyzing the effect of punishment on discipline and learning achievement. The research was conducted at the Al-Amanah Baubau Islamic Boarding School for 3 (three) months from November 2022 to February 2023. The population in this study was 589, while the sample in this study was 60 students. Research data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed by classical assumption test, descriptive data analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study reveal that: 1) The application of punishment has a positive and significant effect on student discipline. The t value of giving punishment (X) to discipline (Y) is 1.706, meaning that t count > t table (1.706 > 1.67) means that giving punishment (X) has a positive effect on discipline (Y) in Al Amanah Islamic Boarding School Baubau. 2) The application of punishment has a positive and significant effect on student achievement. The t value of giving punishment (X) to student achievement (Z) is 3.161, meaning that t count > t table (3.161 > 1.67) means that giving punishment (X) has a positive effect on student achievement (Z). 3) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on student achievement. The t value of giving punishment (Y) affects student achievement (Z) is 5.028, meaning that t count > t table (5.028 > 1.67) means that discipline (Y) influences student achievement (Z) positively. 4) Discipline mediates the effect of applying punishment on student achievement. The value of the direct effect of giving punishment (X) on student achievement (Z), which is 0.283 > is greater than the value of the indirect effect of giving punishment (X) on student achievement (Z) through discipline (Y), namely 0.072 meaningful discipline (Y) mediates the positive influence between giving punishment (X) on student achievement (Z).
