LA ODE MUHAMAD ALWI, NIM:17010108036, “Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Peran Dosen Pembimbing Akademik Pada Program Studi Tadris Biologi” Pembimbng: Dr. Jumarddin La Fua S.Si, M.Si.
Salah satu aspek penting yang mendukung proses akademik mahasiswa adalah dosen pembimbing akademik. Dosen pembimbing akademik secara ideal melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya sesuai dengan pedoman akademik yang berlaku pada perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: pertama, untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan bimbingan akademik pada program studi tadris biologi iain kendari. Kedua, untuk mengetahui peran dosen pembimbing akademik pada program studi tadris biologi iain kendari dan ketiga, untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran dosen pembimbing akademik pada program studi tadris biologi iain kendari. Pada aspek metodologi, penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap data primer dan sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan 3 hal, yaitu: pertama, pelaksanaan bimbingan akademik pada program studi tadris biologi iain kendari sudah berjalan cukup baik yakni mahasiswa diarahkan sesuai alur pembimbingan sehingga memudahkan dalam mengurus krs dan khs, namun intensitas waktu konsultasi masih minim yaitu sekali dalam satu semester . Kedua, peran dosen pembimbing akademik pada prodi biologi sudah cukup baik karena secara umum peran pembimbing akademik dijalankan sebagaimana mestinya dalam membantu mahasiswa berkonsultasi. Ketiga, persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran dosen pembimbing akademik pada program studi tadris biologi tergolong baik. Secara khusus pelaksanaan bimbingan akademik tergolong baik, peran dosen pembimbing akademik cukup baik, dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peran dosen pembimbing akademik tergolong baik

One important aspect that supports the student's academic process is the academic supervisor. Academic supervisors ideally carry out their duties and functions in accordance with the academic guidelines that apply to tertiary institutions. The aims of this study are: first, to find out the implementation of academic guidance in the other Kendari biology tadris study program. Second, to find out the role of academic supervisors in the Kendari iain biology tadris study program and third, to find out student perceptions of the role of academic supervisors in the Kendari iain biology tadris study program. In terms of methodology, this research is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research, using three data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews and documentation of primary and secondary data. Based on the results of the research, it shows 3 things, namely: first, the implementation of academic guidance in the Kendari Biology Tadris study program has been going quite well, namely students are directed according to the guidance flow so that it makes it easier to take care of KRS and KHS, but the intensity of consultation time is still minimal, namely once in one semester . Second, the role of the academic supervisor in the biology study program is quite good because in general the role of the academic supervisor is carried out properly in helping students consult. Third, students' perceptions of the role of academic supervisors in the biology study program are quite good. In particular, the implementation of academic guidance is quite good, the role of the academic supervisor is quite good, and students' perceptions of the role of the academic supervisor are good.
