Abstract

Tradisi jappi-jappi untuk menemukan barang hilang adalah tradisi yang
merupakan salah satu bentuk resepsi Al-Qur‟an yang ditemukan dalam komunitas
masyarakat Muslim Bugis di kota Kendari tokoh yang melakukan tradisi ini biasanya
di sebut pajappi-jappi. Berangkat dari fenomena tersebut, peneliti menganggap
penting untuk meneliti lebih lanjut terkait hubungan antara fungsi Al-Qur‟an sebagai
hudan dengan resepsi Al-Qur‟an pada aspek budaya yang dipraktikkan oleh
masyarakat Muslim Bugis di kota Kendari. Maka masalah yang diangkat dalam
penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bentuk tradisi Jappi-jappi dari aspek
resepsi fungsional QS. l- ti ah yang dipraktikkan oleh masyarakat muslim Bugis
di kota Kendari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan
integrasi keilmuan antara studi Al-Qur‟an, sosial, dan historis. Tradisi jappi-jappi
melalui beberapa tahapan yang di lakukan oleh pajappi-jappi yaitu dengan cara
melaksanaakan shalat sunnah hajat sebanyak 2 rakaat, berdzikir, dan mewiridkan QS.

ah sebanyak 7 kali dan dari hasil penelusuran peneliti tradisi jappi-jappi
bersumber dari salah seorang ulama yang terkenal bernama Syekh Ahmad Khatib
Sambas ia adalah guru yang menggabungkan dua Teknik ilmu tarekat. Oleh karena
itu
tradisi jappi-jappi dapat dikatakan bahwa sangat berkontribusi dalam
mengembangkan wacana fungsi Al-Qur‟an sebagai hudan di Masyarakat Kota
Kendari karena bisa membantu masyarakat dalam memberikan solusi terhadap
masalah atau cobaan yang di hadapi.

The tradition of jappi-jappi to find lost items is a tradition that is one of the forms of
Qur'anic reception found in the Bugis Muslim community in Kendari city, the figures
who carry out this tradition are usually called pajappi-jappi. Departing from this
phenomenon, the researcher considers it important to further examine the
relationship between the function of the Qur'an as hudan with the reception of the
Qur'an in the cultural aspects practiced by the Bugis Muslim community in Kendari
city. So the problem raised in this study aims to explain the form of the Jappi-jappi
tradition from the aspect of functional reception of QS. Al- ti ah as practiced by
the Bugis Muslim community in Kendari city. This research is a qualitative research
with a scientific integration approach between Qur'anic, social, and historical
studies. The jappi-jappi tradition goes through several stages carried out by pajappi
jappi, namely by performing sunnah hajat prayers for 2 rak'ahs, dhikr, and reciting
QS. From the results of the researcher's search, the jappi-jappi tradition originated
from one of the famous scholars named Sheikh Ahmad Khatib Sambas, who was a
teacher who combined two tarekat science techniques. Therefore, it can be said that
the jappi-jappi tradition greatly contributes to developing the discourse on the
function of the Qur'an as hudan in the Kendari City Community because it can help
the community in providing solutions to problems or trials faced.
