This study is aimed at discovering the challenges faced by EFL students�teachers at the start of teaching practicum. This research used a qualitative study.
There were 35 pre-service teachers from English Education Department at fifth
semesterin one of the Islamic higher education in Kendarias the participants of
this study. The data of this study was gathered by using reflection sheet. The
finding showed that there are many kinds of challengesexperienced faced by EFL
Students; Challenges to EFL Students‟-Teacher School-Oriented, Classroom
Management Problem Challenges on School‟s-Oriented Distance, Students�Teachers‟ Anxiety for Starting the Field Teaching Practice, Challenges on
Students‟-Teacher Time Management, Participants‟ Healthiness Problem,
Students‟ teacher lacks‟ Blended Learning System, Uncomfortable learning
atmosphere, School administrationFuture research should explore the challenges
faced by pre-service teachers and model of reorganizing future teaching
practicum.
