Abstract

Samrin, M.Pd.I.
Salah satu tujuan sisem pendidikan nasional adalah membentuk karakter
yang mulia bagi peserta didik, namun realitanya masih banyak ditemui kasus
pelanggaran yang melibatkan anak usia sekolah. Oleh karena itu, Kemendikbud
mencanangkan program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). SMPN 1
Bondoala dalam fungsi manajemen yang dijalankan harus optimal agar mencapai
pendidikan karakter dan menjadi contoh bagi sekolah lain. Tujuan dari penelitian
ini adalah 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis perencanaan program
penguatan pendidikan karkater di SMPN 1 Bondoala, 2) Untuk mendeskripsikan
dan menganalisis pelaksanaan program penguatan pendidikan karkater di SMPN 1
Bondoala, dan 3) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis evaluasi program penguatan
pendidikan karkater di SMPN 1 Bondoala. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut,
penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah
wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data,
penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data
dilakukan dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini
mengungkapkan bahwa fungsi manajemen yang diterapkan di SMPN 1 Bondoala
yakni (1) Perencanaan pendidikan karakter dengan menetukan nilai karakter yang
dikembangkan di sekolah, menyiapkan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan,
mereview dokumen terkait pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter, dan
mensosialisasi kebijakan kepada seluruh warga sekolah, orang tua peserta didik,
serta masyarakat terkaitdipasca pandemi; (2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter
dengan cara mengintegrasikan konten pendidikan karakter yang telah dirumuskan
ke dalam seluruh mata pelajaran serta dalam kegiatan yang diprogamkan atau
direncanakan; Mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter kedalam kegiatan sehari�hari di sekolah berupa pembiasaan dan keteladanan pasca pandemi; serta
membangun komunikasi serta kerjasama antar sekolah dengan orang tua peserta
didik; (3) Evaluasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui evaluasi program;
evaluasi proses; dan evaluasi hasil.

One of the objectives of the national education system is to form a noble
character for students, but in reality there are still many cases of violations
involving school-age children. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture
launched the Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program. SMPN 1
Bondoala in the management function that is carried out must be optimal in order
to achieve character education and become an example for other schools. The
purposes of this research are 1) to describe and analyze the character education
strengthening program planning at SMPN 1 Bondoala, 2) to describe and analyze
the implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMPN 1
Bondoala, and 3) to describe and analyze the evaluation of the character education
strengthening program at SMPN 1 Bondola. To achieve this goal, this research
uses a case study research type using a qualitative approach. Data collection
techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis
through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While
checking the validity of the data is done by observing and triangulation
persistence. The results of this study reveal that the management functions
implemented at SMPN 1 Bondoala are (1) planning character education by
determining the character values developed in schools, preparing teaching and
educational staff, reviewing documents related to the implementation of
strengthening character education, and disseminating policies to all school
members , parents of students, and related communities in the aftermath of the
pandemic; (2) Implementation of character education by integrating character
education content that has been formulated into all subjects and in activities that
are programmed or planned; Integrating character education into daily activities at
school in the form of post-pandemic habituation and exemplary; as well as
building communication and cooperation between schools and parents of students;
(3) Evaluation of character education is carried out through program evaluation;
process evaluation; and evaluation of results.
