Abstract

ABSTRAK
KURNIA AWALIYAH. NIM 2020010110013. ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN
BERPIKIR LOGIS MATEMATIS DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN NUMBER
SENSE SISWA.
Dibimbing oleh: Muhammad Syarwa Sangila S.Pd., M.Pd. dan Halistin M.Si.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kemampuan number sense,
kemampuan berpikir logis matematis, serta kemampuan berpikir logis matematis yang
ditinjau dari kemampuan number sense siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 22 Lantari
Jaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini,
indikator kemampuan berpikir logis yakni keruntutan berpikir, kemampuan
berargumen, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan untuk indikator kemampuan
number sense yang digunakan adalah pengetahuan tentang bilangan, pengetahuan
tentang operasi bilangan, dan penerapan pengetahuan tentang operasi bilangan.
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal uraian berupa 3 butir soal
kemampuan dan berpikir logis matematis 3 butir soal kemampuan number sense. Dari
hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh3 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir
logis tinggi, 15 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis sedang, dan 2 siswa dengan
kemampuan berpikir logis rendah. Pada kemampuan berpikir logis diperoleh 3 siswa
dengan kemampuan number sense tinggi, 12 siswa dengan kemampuan number sense
sedang, dan 5 siswa dengan kemampuan number sense rendah. Untuk kemampuan
berpikir logis yang ditinjau dari kemampuan number sense diperoleh 5 kategori yakni
3 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi dan kemampuan number sense tinggi,
3 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis tinggi dan kemampuan number sense
sedang, 9 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis sedang dan kemampuan number
sense sedang, 3 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis sedang dan kemampuan
number sense rendah, serta 2 siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir logis rendah dan
kemampuan number sense rendah.

This research aims to find out about number sense abilities, mathematical logical
thinking abilities, and mathematical logical thinking abilities in terms of the number
sense abilities of class VII B students at SMP Negeri 22 Lantari Jaya. This research is
a qualitative descriptive study. In this research, the indicators of logical thinking
ability are sequence of thinking, ability to argue, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile,
the indicators of number sense ability used are knowledge about numbers, knowledge
about number operations, and application of knowledge about number operations. The
instruments used in this research were descriptive questions in the form of 3 ability
questions and mathematical logical thinking 3 item number sense ability questions.
From the results of the research carried out, it was found that 3 students had high
logical thinking abilities, 15 students with moderate logical thinking abilities, and 2
students with low logical thinking abilities. In terms of logical thinking abilities, 3
students had high number sense abilities, 12 students had medium number sense
abilities, and 5 students had low number sense abilities. For logical thinking ability in
terms of number sense ability, 5 categories were obtained, namely 3 students with high
logical thinking ability and high number sense ability, 3 students with high logical
thinking ability and medium number sense ability, 9 students with moderate logical
thinking ability and number sense ability. medium sense, 3 students with moderate
logical thinking ability and low number sense ability, and 2 students with low logical
thinking ability and low number sense ability.
