RUKIAH VIRTUAL DALAM KONTEKS RESEPSI AL-QUR’AN DI
MEDIA SOSIAL

Fenomena resepsi Al-Qur‟an dalam praktik rukiah virtual di media sosial,
khususnya penggunaan QS. Yūnus/10: 81-82, semakin marak dan menarik
perhatian di era digital. Penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap kompleksitas
fenomena tersebut dengan mengeksplorasi ragam bentuk resepsi, menelusuri
genealogi penafsiran, serta menganalisis spektrum respons netizen. Melalui
pendekatan living Qur‟an yang inovatif dan metode sosio-fenomenologis yang
mendalam, studi ini menyelami pengalaman dan pemahaman para praktisi rukiah
virtual serta interaksi dinamis antara teks suci, otoritas keagamaan, dan
masyarakat digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa QS. Yūnus/10: 81-82
diresepsi secara variatif sebagai penangkal sihir, media penyembuhan (syifa), dan
pemusnah sihir, dengan genealogi resepsi yang terbentuk melalui transmisi
penafsiran dari literatur tafsir dan pengetahuan dari hubungan guru-murid. Lebih
jauh, penelitian ini mengungkap adanya transformasi signifikan dalam praktik
rukiah, dari bentuk konvensional ke virtual, yang melibatkan perubahan medium,
prosedur, dan ruang lingkup aplikasi. Penelitian ini juga memetakan polarisasi
respons netizen yang mencakup apresiasi, dukungan, kritik, hingga penolakan
terhadap praktik rukiah virtual. Temuan ini merefleksikan kompleksitas interaksi
antara keabadian teks suci, dinamika otoritas keagamaan, keragaman ekspresi
keislaman, dan respons masyarakat yang selalu berevolusi di lanskap digital..

RUKIAH PHENOMENA IN THE CONTEXT OF AL-QUR'AN RECEPTION
IN SOCIAL MEDIA.

The phenomenon of Qur'anic reception in the practice of virtual rukiah on
social media, particularly the use of QS. Y nus/10: 81-82, has become
increasingly prevalent and attracted attention in the digital era. This study seeks
to uncover the complexity of this phenomenon by exploring various forms of
reception, tracing the genealogy of interpretation, and analyzing the spectrum of
netizens' responses. Through an innovative living Qur'an approach and an in
depth socio-phenomenological method, this study delves into the experiences and
understandings of virtual ruqyah practitioners and the dynamic interactions
between sacred texts, religious authorities, and digital society. The results show
that QS. Y nus/10: 81-82 is variously received as a potent antidote to sorcery, a
medium of healing (syifa), and a destroyer of magic, with a genealogy of
reception formed through the transmission of interpretation from tafsir literature
and knowledge from teacher-student relationships. Furthermore, this research
reveals a significant transformation in ruqyah practice, from conventional to
virtual forms, involving changes in medium, procedures, and scope of application.
This research also maps the polarization of netizens' responses, ranging from
appreciation, support, criticism, to rejection of the practice of virtual rukiah.
These findings reflect the complexity of interactions between the eternaity of
sacred texts, the dynamics of religious authority, the diversity of Islamic
expressions, and the ever-evolving responses of society in the digital landscape.
