The purpose of this research was to describe how Self-Video Recording
could maintain EFL students’ vocabulary. The study used qualitative design with
reflection journal as the instrument that shared through Google form. The participants
of this study consist of 15 students from 23 students in the target class. The rest of the
students who cannot be participant were caused by several problems including bad
networking and connection. The results of the research revealed that with practicing
more in recording students themselves on camera while speaking using new
vocabulary they gained, it worked to maintain students’ vocabulary so it is not easy to
forget. In addition, repeating in watching the Self-Video recording that students made
could strengthen students’ memory of vocabulary.
