Abstract

Risdayanti, Nim 2021010104039, Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Nasionalisme Dalam
Pembelajaran Ppkn Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 7 Lainea Kab. Konawe
Selatan (Dibimbing Dr. Fahmi Gunawan, S.S., M.Hum Dan Karim, S.Pd,
M.Hum)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam penanaman
nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan
Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 7 Lainea, Kabupaten
Konawe Selatan. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada tiga hal utama, yaitu: (1) nilainilai

nasionalisme yang ditanamkan dalam pembelajaran PPKn, (2) strategi atau
upaya guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut, dan (3) tantangan yang
dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran. Pentingnya penelitian ini didasarkan pada
fenomena menurunnya sikap nasionalisme di kalangan generasi muda yang
cenderung lebih mengenal budaya asing daripada budaya bangsa sendiri. Melalui
penelitian ini diharapkan dapat ditemukan gambaran nyata bagaimana sekolah
dasar berperan dalam membentuk karakter nasionalis siswa sejak dini. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan
pendekatan fenomenologis. Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara
mendalam dengan wali kelas IV, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran di SD
Negeri 7 Lainea. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi,
penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta keabsahan data diuji dengan teknik
triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilainilai

nasionalisme yang diajarkan mencakup cinta tanah air, persatuan dan
kesatuan,serta toleransi dan saling menghargai. Nilai-nilai ini tampak dalam sikap
siswa seperti membantu teman, disiplin mengikuti kegiatan sekolah, dan
menghargai simbol-simbol negara. Strategi guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai
nasionalisme dilakukan dengan metode variatif, antara lain diskusi kelompok,
bercerita tentang tokoh pahlawan, menyanyikan lagu nasional, kegiatan upacara
bendera, hingga aktivitas kerja bakti. Guru juga mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai
tersebut dalam keseharian siswa melalui keteladanan dan pembiasaan positif.
Adapun tantangan yang ditemukan antara lain perbedaan karakter siswa,
rendahnya antusiasme sebagian peserta didik, pengaruh lingkungan keluarga yang
kurang mendukung, serta derasnya arus globalisasi dan media sosial yang lebih
menarik perhatian anak-anak. Meskipun demikian, pembelajaran PPKn terbukti
memiliki kontribusi besar dalam membentuk identitas kebangsaan siswa serta
menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air sejak dini. Dengan demikian, penanaman nilainilai

nasionalisme melalui pembelajaran PPKn di sekolah dasar sangat relevan
dan penting sebagai pondasi karakter generasi penerus bangsa.

Civic Education (PPKn) Learning for Fourth Grade Students at SD Negeri 7
Lainea, South Konawe Regency. (Supervised by Dr. Fahmi Gunawan, S.S.,
M.Hum and Karim, S.Pd., M.Hum).
This study aims to describe in depth the cultivation of nationalism values in Civic
Education (PPKn) learning for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 7 Lainea, South
Konawe Regency. The research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the nationalism
values instilled in Civic Education learning, (2) the strategies or efforts of teachers
in implementing these values, and (3) the challenges faced during the process. The
importance of this study is based on the phenomenon of declining nationalism
attitudes among the younger generation, who tend to be more familiar with
foreign cultures than their own national identity. Through this study, it is expected
to provide a clear picture of how elementary schools play a role in shaping
students‟ nationalist character from an early age. This research employed a
descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were
collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the fourth grade
homeroom teacher, and documentation of learning activities at SD Negeri 7
Lainea. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of collection, reduction,
presentation, and conclusion drawing, while the validity of the data was tested
using source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings show that the
nationalism values taught include love for the homeland, unity and integrity,
mutual cooperation, politeness, appreciation of culture, and respect for tradition.
These values are reflected in students‟ behaviors such as helping classmates,
being disciplined in school activities, and respecting national symbols. Teachers
applied various strategies in instilling nationalism values, such as group
discussions, storytelling about national heroes, singing patriotic songs, contextual
learning, flag ceremonies, and community service activities. Teachers also
integrated these values into students‟ daily lives through role modeling and
positive habituation. The challenges identified include differences in students‟
characters, low enthusiasm of some learners, lack of support from family
environments, and the strong influence of globalization and social media that
attract children‟s attention. Nevertheless, Civic Education has proven to make a
significant contribution to shaping students‟ national identity and fostering
patriotism from an early age. Thus, instilling nationalism values through Civic
Education in elementary schools is highly relevant and essential as the foundation
of future generations‟ character.
