Abstract

Murdiana NIM 19010101209 title “Problems of Learning Islamic Religious
Education at SMA Negeri South Konawe”. Islamic Religious Education Study
Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. Supervisor I: Dr. H.
Herman, M. Pd. I and supervisor II: Dr. Aris Try Andreass Putra, M.Pd
This research aims to determine the problems experienced by teachers and
students in implementing the Islamic religious education learning process at SMA
Negeri 2 South Konawe. The data and sources in this research come from primary
data and secondary data. Data was collected through observation, interview and
documentation. The results of the research show that what are the problems of
learning Islamic religious education at SMAN 2 South Konawe, what are the
efforts to solve the problems of learning Islamic religious education at SMAN 2
south konawe, how are efforts to solve learning problems faced in solving PAI
learning at SMAN 2 South Konawe: there are still many students who cannot read
the Al-Qur’an properly and correctly according to tajwid, students do not
understand the material taught by the teacher, there is a lack of students
motivation to learn, students do not attach much importance to the 5 daily
prayers, there is often an understanding between one students and another.
Efforts made by the school are to provide additional tutoring to facilitate Al�Qur’an reading and to hold Al-Qur’an readings every Sunday at the mosque to
determine Al-Qur’an reading skills, create a conducive learning atmosphere,
make student diaries containing 5 daily prayer schedules, the school provides
guidance and involves teachers. Obtacles in efforts to solve PAI learning
problems at SMAN 2 South Konawe, namely the diverse character of students,
finding differents students’ learning talents and interests, and lack of
concentration in learning.
