Abstract

Erwin (2022). Islamic Economics Study Program Kendari State
Islamic Institute (IAIN), Risk Management of Goods Delivery at
PT.Tiki Kendari Branch Viewed from an Shariah Economic
Perspective. Supervised by Alfian Toar, SP., MM and Dr. Sodiman,
M.Ag
This study aims to determine the risk management of the goods
delivery process carried out by TIKI Kendari Branch and viewed from
an Shariah economic perspective. This research is through qualitative
field research. The sources studied were the head of the TIKI Kendari
Branch, operational managers, 6 couriers, 2 warehouse managers, and
2 front Office TIKI Kendari Branch. Collecting data through
interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study
indicate that TIKI Kendari Branch carries out risk control by means of;
avoiding risks, namely by refusing to deliver goods that have been
determined, controlling risk by providing additional packaging to the
package in the form of bubble wrap or providing wooden crate
packaging to avoid damage to goods, sorting goods according to the
address of each area so that there is no wrong delivery address, install
CCTV for security and supervision of the TIKI Kendari Branch office,
transfer or transfer risks to other parties, and carry out responsibilities
in the form of compensation and insurance for consumer goods. On the
other hand, from an Islamic economic perspective, TIKI Kendari
Branch in carrying out risk management aims to maintain the trust of
its customers, this is in accordance with Islamic teachings. In terms of
compensation, TIKI Kendari Branch seeks to replace 10 times the price
of shipping goods and replace it with the price of the goods that were
lost or damaged during delivery by TIKI.
