Abstract

ABSTRAK
Andri Gunawan. 18010109002: Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran
Talking Stick Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Sawa
(dibimbing oleh Zainuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd dan La Isa, S.Si., M.Si).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman
konsep fisika yang di ajar menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick dan
model konvensional di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (2) mengetahui
apakah terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep yang di ajar mengunakan model
talking stick dan konvensional di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. Penelitian
ini dilaksanakan melalui metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Posttest
Only Group Design pada desain hanya terdapat posttest kelas eksperimen dan
kelas kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA di
SMA Negeri 1 Sawa, sampel ditetapkan dengan mengunakan teknik simple
random sampling yaitu pemilihan dilakukan dengan cara metode lotre atau
undian, kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai
kelas kontrol. Uji prasyarat analisis mengunakan uji normalitas dan uji
homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep
fisika yang di ajar mengunakan model pembelajaran talking stick dan metode
konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Pemahaman konsep
peserta didik yang di ajar mengunakan metode konvensional (ceramah) di SMA
Negeri 1 Sawa berada pada kategori rendah dengan nilai rata-rata71,53 dan
pemahaman konsep model pembelajaran talking stick berada pada kategori
sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 75,46. (2) Terdapat perbedaan penerapan model
pembelajaran talking stick dan konvensional, dimana nilai =
2,15 > 2,05.

Model on Understanding Physics Concepts at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa (supervised
by Zainuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd and La Isa, S.Si., M.Si
This study aims to (1) find out how understanding the concept of physics is taught
using the talking stick learning model and the conventional model in class XI IPA at
SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. (2) find out whether there are differences in understanding the
concepts taught using the talking stick and conventional models in class XI IPA at
SMA Negeri 1 Sawa. This research was carried out through the experimental method
with the Posttest Only Group Design research design. In the design, there was only a
posttest experimental class and a control class. The population in this study were all
students of class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa, the sample was determined using
simple random sampling technique, namely the selection was made by lottery or
lottery method, class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the
control class. Test the prerequisite analysis using the normality test and homogeneity
test, as well as hypothesis testing to find out differences in understanding the
concepts of physics that are taught using the talking stick learning model and
conventional methods. The results showed that (1) students' understanding of the
concept taught using conventional methods (lectures) at SMA Negeri 1 Sawa was in
the low category with an average value of 71.53 and understanding of the concept of
the talking stick learning model was in the medium category with an average score -
average 75.46. (2) There are differences in the application of the talking stick and
conventional learning models, where the value of > = 2.15 > 2.05.
