Abstract

Kedisiplinan Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPA Siswa MTs Tridana
Mulya Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. (Dibimbing Oleh: Bapak Dr. Masdin,

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh motivasi orang
tua dan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa MTs Tridana
Mulya; ( 2 ) pengaruh motivasi orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa MTs
Tridana Mulya; dan (3) pengaruh kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar
IPA siswa MTs Tridana Mulya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei
dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa
kelas VIII MTs Tridana Mulya tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 52 sampel
menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu teknik penentuan sampel apabila
semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel berdasarkan teknik ini
diperoleh sampel sebanyak 52 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan
dokumentasi dan angket. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus korelasi product
moment, dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Teknik analisis
data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian pada taraf
signifikansi 5% menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh dan signifikan
motivasi orang tua dan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa
MTs Tridana Mulya. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari
0,05 (0,004<0,05) dan koefisien regresi sebesar -0,088; (2) terdapat pengaruh dan
signifikan motivasi orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa MTs Tridana
Mulya. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05
(0,014<0,05) dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,075; (3) Terdapat pengaruh dan
signifikan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA siswa MTs Tridana
Mulya Kabupaten Konawe selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansi lebih
kecil dari 0,05 (0,004<0,05). Besarnya kontribusi variabel motivasi orang tua, dan
kedisiplinan belajar 19,9%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 80,1% dipengaruhi oleh
faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Learning Discipline on Science Learning Achievement of Students at MTs

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of parental motivation and
learning discipline on science learning achievement of students at MTs Tridana
Mulya; ( 2 ) the effect of parental motivation on science learning achievement of
MTs Tridana Mulya students; and (3) the effect of learning discipline on science
learning achievement of MTs Tridana Mulya students. This type of research is
survey research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all
students of class VIII MTs Tridana Mulya for the academic year 2021/2022,
totaling 52 samples using a saturated sampling technique, namely a sampling
technique if all members of the population were used as samples. Based on this
technique, a sample of 52 students was obtained. Data collection techniques using
documentation and questionnaires. The validity test uses the product moment
correlation formula, and the reliability test uses the cronbach alpha formula. The
data analysis technique used multiple linear regression test. The results of the
study at a significance level of 5% showed that: (1) there was a significant and
significant effect of parental motivation and learning discipline on the science
learning achievement of MTs Tridana Mulya students. This is indicated by a
significance value less than 0.05 (0.004 <0.05) and a regression coefficient of -
0.088; (2) there is a significant and significant effect of parents' motivation on the
science learning achievement of MTs Tridana Mulya students. This is indicated
by a significance value less than 0.05 (0.014 <0.05) and a regression coefficient of
0.075; (3) There is a significant and significant effect of learning discipline on the
science learning achievement of the students of MTs Tridana Mulya, South
Konawe Regency. This is evidenced by the significance value less than 0.05
(0.004 <0.05). The magnitude of the contribution of the motivational variables of
parents, and learning discipline is 19.9%, while the remaining 80.1% is influenced
by other factors not examined in this study.
