Abstract

ABSTRAK
Miftahul Jannah, NIM : 170101050018 dengan Judul Penelitian
“Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Melalui Permainan
Kartu Huruf di TK Uswatun Hasanah Samaturu”,Program Studi Pendidikan
Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD). (Dibimbing Oleh Dr. Ros mayasari, S.Ag.,
M.Si dan Erdyanti, S.Ag., M.Pd)
Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
kemampuan membaca permulaan melalui permainan kartu huruf diTK Uswatun
Hasanah Samaturu.yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengungkapkan tentang kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan menggunakan
permainan kartu huruf. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa
kemampuan membaca permulaan anak melalui kegiatan menyusun huruf
menggunakan media kartu huruf pada anak DI TK Uswatun Hasanah meningkat
sebanyak 5 orang anak didik dari 10 orang anak didik atau 50% berada pada
kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB) dan berada pada kriteria Berkembang Sesuai
Harapan (BSH).Pada tindakan siklus II melanjutkandengan tema diriku sub
temaidentitasdiritemaspesifiknamadantemadiriku
sub
temaidentitasdiritemaspesifikjeniskelamin. Kemampuan membaca permulaan
anak melalui kegiatan menyusun huruf menggunakan media kartu huruf pada
anak mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebanyak 8 anak didik yang mencapai kriteria
ketuntasan dari 10 anak atau dengan presentase 80% berada pada kriteria
Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dan Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), hanya
2 orang anak didik yang tidak mencapai kriteria ketuntasan kriteria Mulai
Berkembang (MB).Anak yang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan sebanyak 2
orang anak didik, ini disebabkan karena anak kurang aktif dalam kegiatan
menyusun huruf menggunakan media kartu huruf dan anak sulit berkonsentrasi
pada saat proses pembelajaran. Setelah melaksanakan tindakan penelitian yaitu
melalui kegiatan menyusun huruf menggunakan media kartu huruf dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak di TK Uswatun Hasanah.

Samaturu Kindergarten", Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program
(PIAUD). (Supervised by Dr. Ros mayasari, S.Ag., M.Si and Erdyanti, S.Ag.,
M.Pd)

This classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve early reading
skills through letter card games at Uswatun Hasanah Samaturu Kindergarten.
What is meant in this research is to reveal about early reading skills using letter
card games. The results of the research in the first cycle showed that the initial
reading ability of children through writing activities using letter cards media in
children at Uswatun Hasanah Kindergarten increased by 5 students from 10
students or 50% were in the Starting Developing criteria (MB) and were at
Criteria for Developing According to Expectations (BSH). In the second cycle, the
action continued with the theme of myself, the sub-theme of self-identity, the
specific theme, and the theme of myself, the sub-theme of gender-specific self
identity. Children's early reading ability through writing activities using letter
card media in children has increased, namely as many as 8 students who achieved
the criteria for completeness of 10 children or with a percentage of 80% being in
the criteria for Very Good Development (BSB) and Developing According to
Expectations (BSH), only 2 students who did not reach the criteria for
completeness of the Beginning to Develop (MB) criteria. Children who had not
reached the criteria of completeness were 2 students, this was because the
children were less active in compiling letters using letter card media and the
children had difficulty concentrating during the process. learning. After carrying
out the research action, namely through the activity of compiling letters using
letter card media, it can improve the early reading ability of children in Uswatun
Hasanah Kindergarten.
