Abstract
ABSTRAK
Andi Nurcahayati Amir Soetdjo. 18010103064. Penerapan teknik
Pengendalian Diri Melalui Pemberian pelayanan Bimbingan Konseling
Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Di SMAN 4 Kendari. Di
bimbing oleh Badarwan M.Pd dan Erdiyanti S.Ag, M.Pd
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran serta fungsi guru
bimbingan konseling (BK) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan juga upaya
pengendalian diri bagi siswa di SMA 4 Kendari. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan
teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumplkan dianalisis
dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan
penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan teknik
pengendalian diri melalui pelayanan Bimbingan Konseling (BK) di SMA
memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan
pengendalian diri, termasuk mengatur waktu, fokus, dan motivasi dalam belajar.
Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pengendalian diri yang baik cenderung lebih
efektif dalam menghadapi tekanan, mengatasi hambatan belajar, dan meraih
prestasi akademik yang tinggi. Implementasi dari peran guru BK dalam
mengamati perkembangan siswa secara holistik, termasuk dalam aspek karir,
membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan belajar dan juga meningkatkan motivasi
belajar bagi siswa. Peningkatan motivasi belajar tersebut memberikan dampak
positif bagi siswa sehingga suasana belajar mengajar menjadi lebih aktif.

techniques through the provision of guidance and counseling services in
increasing student learning motivation at SMAN 4 Kendari. Supervised by

This research aims to describe the role and function of guidance and
counseling teachers (BK) in increasing learning motivation and self-control efforts
for students at SMA 4 Kendari. Data was collected using interview and
documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is analyzed using data
analysis techniques, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing
conclusions. The results of this research show that the application of self-control
techniques through Guidance Counseling (BK) services in high school has an
important role in helping students develop self-control abilities, including
managing time, focus and motivation in studying. Students who have good self-
control abilities tend to be more effective in dealing with pressure, overcoming
learning obstacles, and achieving high academic achievement. Implementation of
the role of guidance and counseling teachers in observing students' development
holistically, including in career aspects, helping students overcome learning
difficulties and also increasing students' learning motivation. This increase in
learning motivation has a positive impact on students so that the teaching and
learning atmosphere becomes more active.
