Nama: Rezky Utami, NIM: 2020020101007, Judul Skripsi: Peran Single Mom
Dalam Memenuhi Kebutuhan Dasar Anak Perspektif Abraham Maslow, dibimbing
oleh: Dr. Kartini M.HI. dan Ahmad Ridha M.Hum.
Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi objektif single
mom dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak, menguraikan kendala yang dihadapi
single mom dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak dan menganalisis peran single
mom dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis
penelitian normatif-empiris. Penulis mengumpulan data melalui wawancara
dokumentasi, dan observasi terhadap single mom yang bekerja sebagai petugas
cleaning service di Bandara Haluoleo Kendari. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis
berdasarkan teori hierarki kebutuhan Maslow. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang
telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kondisi single mom dalam memenuhi
kebutuhan dasar anak sebelum bekerja sebagai petugas cleaning service adalah
dengan dibantu oleh keluarga dan berjualan keripik. Kendala yang dihadapi para
single mom dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anaknya antara lain adalah kondisi
psikologis, masalah sosial dan masalah dalam membagi waktu bersama anak. Peran
single mom dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar anak menurut hierarki kebutuhan
Maslow yang terdiri dari lima kebutuhan, belum sepenuhnya dijalankan dengan
baik oleh sebagian single mom, dikarenakan situasi dan kondisi yang menyebabkan
pemenuhan perannya tidak maksimal. Hal ini senada dengan prinsip-prinsip yang
ada dalam maqashid syariah mengenai peran single mom dalam memenuhi
kebutuhan dasar anak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi aktif sebagai
narasi ilmiah bagi kebijakan pemerintah dalam memenuhi dan melindungi
kebutuhan single mom dan anaknya.

Mother In Meeting Children’s Basic Needs From Abraham Maslow’s Perspective,

This qualitative research aims to describe the objective conditions of single mothers
in meeting children’s basic needs, describe the obstacles faced by single mothers in
meeting children’s basic needs and analyze the role of single mothers in meeting
children’s basic needs. Data collection was carried out through documentary
interviews and observations of single mothers who worked as cleaning service
officers at Haluoleo Kendari Airport. The data was then analyzed based on
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. Based on the results of research that has been
carried out, it shows that the condition for single mothers to fulfill their children’s
basic needs before working as a cleaning service officer is by being helped by their
family and selling chips. The obstacles faced by single mothers in meeting their
children’s basic needs include personal life problems, social problems and problems
in dividing time with their children. The role of single mothers in fulfilling
children’s basic needs according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, which consists of
five needs, has not been fully implemented well by some single mothers, due to
situations and conditions that cause the fulfillment of their role to not run optimally.
This is in line with the principles contained in maqashid sharia regarding the role
of single mothers in meeting children’s basic needs. It is hoped that this research
can actively contribute as a scientific narrative to government policy in meeting and
protecting the needs of single mothers and their children.
