Abstract

Marni, NIM: 16010108025. Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional Guru Terhadap
Minat Belajar Biologi Siswa SMA Negeri 11 Kendari. Program Studi Pendidikan
Biologi, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam Negeri
Kendari, pembimbing: Dr. Mansyur M. Pd
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi
professional guru terhadap minat belajar biologi siswa pada kelas X MIPA SMA
Negeri 11 Kendari.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan
menggunakan metode survey. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu
sebanyak sampel 82 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total
sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini
menggunakan kuesioner (angket) pada peserta didik. Tehnik analisis data yang
digunakan yaitu tehnik analisis statistik dekriptif, uji prasyarat (uji normalitas)
dan uji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Hasil kompetensi
profesional guru diperoleh skor presentase kecenderungan tertinggi yaitu 59%
berada pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan minat belajar biologi siswa diperoleh
skor presentase kecenderungan tertinggi yaitu 60% berada pada kategori sedang.
2) terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi profesional guru (X) terhadap minat
belajar (Y) bersifat positif dan sangat signifikan, dengan kata lain semakin baik
pula minat belajar siswa dengan hasil regresi sebesar 20,5% dengan persamaan
regresi sebesar ̂= 73,943 + 0,026 X. Nilai Koefisien Regresi sebesar 0,453 Serta
nilai thitung diperoleh sebesar 4,546 > nilai ttabel (1,664) dan nilai signifikan
diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka ada pengaruh secara signifikan variabel
kompetensi professional guru terhadap minat belajar biologi siswa kelas X MIPA
di SMA Negeri 11 Kendari.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher
professional competence on students' interest in learning biology in class X MIPA
SMA Negeri 11 Kendari. This research is a quantitative study using survey
methods. The sample used in this study is a sample of 82 students with a sampling
technique that is total sampling. The data collection technique used in this study
used a questionnaire (questionnaire) to students. The data analysis technique used
is descriptive statistical analysis technique, prerequisite test (normality test) and
research hypothesis testing. The results of this study are 1) The results of the
teacher's professional competence obtained the highest percentage score of 59% in
the medium category. Meanwhile, students' interest in learning biology obtained
the highest trend percentage score, which was 60% in the medium category. 2)
there is an influence between teacher professional competence (X) on learning
interest (Y) is positive and very significant, in other words the better student
learning interest with a regression result of 20.5% with a regression equation of Y
= 73.943 + 0.026 X. The value of the regression coefficient is 0.453 and the
tcount value is 4.546 > ttable value (1.664) and a significant value is obtained at
0.000 <0.05, so there is a significant effect of the teacher's professional
competence variable on the interest in learning biology for class X MIPA students
at SMA Negeri 11 Kendari.
