Abstract

Through the Tahfidzul Qur'an Program at MTs Al-Muhajirin Kendari.
Guided by Prof. Dr. H. Zulkifli M M.Si, M.Pd Dan Raehang S. Ag., M. Pd.I
The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the
tahfidzul qur'an program at MTs Al-Muhajirin Kendari and how to implement
character education through the tahfidzul qur'an program at MTs Al-Muhajirin
Kendari, the type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques
used observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study
were the Head of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Supervisors and
Students. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman models,
namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the tahfidzul qur'an
program at MTs Al Muhajirin Kendari has gone well, this can be seen from its
implementation by requiring all students to memorize 2 juz in a year using the
methodBin Nadhar, tahfidz, Talaqqi and Meroja'ah with a series of activities,
namely the opening activity where in the opening activity students are given
stimulus or advice then read prayers and surah al-Fatihah, the core activities are
improving reading and memorizing then after that it is handed over to the coach
and closing brings a short cult whose title is from the verse or sura they
memorized beforehand. As for the implementation of character education through
the tahfidzul qur'an program at MTs Al-Muhajirin Kendari by instilling character
values, namely religious character, namely by getting used to reading prayers
before memorizing activities take place, habituating honest characters related to
their memorization by recording student memorization after being deposited,
discipline when keep memorizing parallel and regular, like to read by continuing
to read the verses that have been memorized at the timemeroja'ah, hard worker by
repeatingofrepeating the memorization, the character of responsibility by bringing
a short cult with a theme raised from verses that have been memorized by students
who have been good at practicing them and independent in preparing their
memorization.
