Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan
agama Islam dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter siswa di SMAN 3
Mawasangka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian studi
kasus kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara,
dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru
pendidikan agama Islam, orang tua dan siswa SMAN 3 Mawasangka. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan dalam implementasi pendidikan agama Islam di SMAN 3
Mawasangka mengacu pada kurikulum 2013. Proses implementasi pendidikan
agama Islam di SMAN 3 Mawasangka meliputi kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan
inti, penutup. Pada kegiatan pendahuluan guru menyipkan pseserta didik secara
psikis, memberikan motivasi dan apresiasi dalam menjelaskan pentingnya materi,
tujuan pembelajaran dan langkah dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan inti yaitu
eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi. Pada kegiatan penutup guru dan siswa
bersama-sama menyimpulkan materi pembelajaran, serta memberikan tugas
kepada siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran yaitu metode
ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan penugasan dan disesuaikan pada metode yang
ada pada RPP guru yang akan disesuiakan dengan materi yang diajarkan, serta
melaksanakan evaluasi dalam bentuk ulangan harian. Dampak dalam
menanamkan pendidikan karakter, dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam
berdampak positif pada pendidikan karakter anak dan bisa menanamkan nilai
religius siswa yaitu (1) Tanggung jawab, (2) Jujur, (3) Hormat dan santun.

This research aims to describe the implementation of Islamic religious
education in instilling character education in students at SMAN 3 Mawasangka.
The type of research used is a qualitative case study method. Data collection
methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants
in this study are the school principal, Islamic religious education teachers, parents,
and students of SMAN 3 Mawasangka. The research findings indicate that the
implementation of Islamic religious education at SMAN 3 Mawasangka adheres
to the 2013 curriculum. The process of implementing Islamic religious education
at SMAN 3 Mawasangka includes three main phases: the introductory phase, the
core activities, and the conclusion. In the introductory phase, teachers prepare
students psychologically, provide motivation, and appreciation while explaining
the importance of the subject matter, learning objectives, and the steps in the
learning process. The core activities consist of exploration, elaboration, and
confirmation. In the concluding phase, teachers and students together summarize
the learning material and assign tasks to students. The teaching methods used
include lectures, question and answer sessions, discussions, and assignments,
which are adjusted to the teacher's lesson plans, matching the material being
taught. Additionally, regular assessments in the form of daily quizzes are
conducted. The impact of instilling character education in Islamic religious
education is positive, as it cultivates religious values and character traits in
students, including (1) responsibility, (2) honesty, (3) respect, and courtesy.
