Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar
siswa sebelum perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model
pembelajaran out door study dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. (2)
Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sesudah perlakuan pada kelas
eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran out door study dan
kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah. (3) Untuk mengetahui manakah
yang lebih efektif jika model pembelajaran out door study dibandingkan dengan
metode ceramah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan
menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta
didik kelas IV di SD Negeri 17 Laeya, sampel penelitian ini yang digunakan pada
penelitian ini yaitu 12 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada
penelitian ini menggunakan tes (posttest-pretest) dan observasi pada peserta didik.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis statistik desciptif, teknik
analisis statistik inferensial: uji prasyarat (uji normalitas, homogenitas) dan uji
hipotesis (uji T sample independent, uji T sample berpasangan, uji N-Gain). Hasil
penelitian yang diperoleh pada kedua kelompok tersebut melalui analisis statistik
deskriptif, rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran out
door study sebesar 83,83 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa
menggunakan metode ceramah sebesar 48,50. Hasil analisis inferensial data
menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh 0,001 < 0,05. Dengan
demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang
menggunakan model pembelajaran out door study dengan metode ceramah
terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kelas IV di SD Negeri 17 Laeya.

The aims of this study were (1) to determine the differences in student
learning outcomes before treatment in the experimental class which was taught
using the out door study model and the control class using the lecture method. (2)
To find out the difference in student learning outcomes after treatment in the
experimental class which was taught using the out door study learning model and
the control class using the lecture method. (3) To find out which one is more
effective if the out door study learning model is compared to the lecture method.
This research is a quantitative research using experimental methods. The
population of this study were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 17 Laeya, the
sample of this study used in this study were 12 students. The data collection
technique used in this study used a test (posttest-pretest) and observation of
students. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis
techniques, inferential statistical analysis techniques: prerequisite tests (normality
test, homogeneity) and hypothesis testing (independent sample T test, paired
sample T test, N-Gain test). The results obtained in both groups through
descriptive statistical analysis, the average science learning outcomes of students
using the out door study learning model was 83.83 while the average science
learning outcomes of students using the lecture method was 48.50. The results of
inferential data analysis showed that the significance value obtained was 0.001 <
0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning
outcomes in science using the out door study learning model with the lecture
method on student learning outcomes in class IV at SD Negeri 17 Laeya.
