Matematis Ditinjau Dari Pengetahuan Dasar Matematika dan Perbedaan

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method yang bertujuan untuk (1)
mendeskripsikan PDM siswa; (2) mendeskripsikan perbedaan gender siswa; (3)
mendeskripsikan KBRM siswa; (4) mendeskripsikan KBRM ditinjau dari PDM
siswa; (5) mendeskripsikan KBRM ditinjau dari perbedaan gender siswa; (6)
mendeskripikan KBRM ditinjau dari PDM dan perbedaan gender siswa; dan (7)
mengkaji pengaruh PDM dan perbedaan gender terhadap KBRM siswa. Populasi
penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan yang berjumlah 307
siswa dari 9 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster
random sampling dan purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel 90 siswa dari
4 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket untuk melihat perbedaan gender
siswa, tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur PDM siswa, dan tes essay untuk mengukur
KBRM siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian
ini adalah (1) PDM siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan memiliki nilai rata�rata sebesar 67,25. Mayoritas siswa memiliki kategori PDM sedang (sebesar
66,67% siswa); (2) Mayoritas siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Konawe Selatan memiliki
gender undifferentiated (sebesar 45,55%); (3) KBRM siswa kelas IX SMPN 1
Konawe Selatan memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 19,95. Mayoritas siswa memiliki
kategori KBRM sedang (sebesar 74,44% siswa); (4) siswa dengan PDM tinggi
sudah bisa mencapai semua indikator KBRM diantaranya, reacting, comparing,
dan contemplating, beberapa siswa dengan PDM sedang mampu mencapai semua
indikator KBRM diantaranya reacting, comparing, dan contemplating; beberapa
lainnya ada yang mencapai indikator reacting, dan comparing serta ada juga yang
hanya mencapai indikator reacting, sementara siswa dengan PDM rendah mampu
mencapai semua indikator KBRM diantaranya reacting, comparing, dan
contemplating; beberapa lainnya hanya mencapai indikator reacting; (5) gender
maskulin sudah mampu mencapai indikator reacting, akan tetapi belum mencapai
indikator comparing dan contemplating. Sedangkan pada siswa yang memiliki
Gender feminim, androgini, dan undifferentiated sudah mampu mencapai semua
indikator KBRM yaitu reacting, comparing, dan contemplating; (6) setiap gender
memusat pada PDM sedang dengan KBRM yang sedang juga; (7) tidak terdapat
pengaruh PDM dan perbedaan gender yang signifikan terhadap KBRM.

This research is a mixed method research which aims to (1) describe student
PDM; (2) describe student gender differences; (3) describe student KBRM; (4)
describe KBRM in terms of student PDM; (5) describe KBRM in terms of student
gender differences; (6) describe KBRM in terms of PDM and student gender
differences; dan (7) examine the influence of PDM and gender differences on
student KBRM. The population of this research was class IX students at SMPN 1
South Konawe, totaling 307 student from 9 class. The sampling technique used
cluster random sampling and purposive sampling, so that a sample of 90 student
from 4 classes was obtained. Data collection techniques include questionnaires to
see student gender differences, multiple choice tests to measure student PDM, and
essay tests to measure student KBRM. Data were analyxed descriptively and
inferentially. The result of this research are (1) PDM class IX student of SMPN 1
South Konawe have an average score of 67,25. Majority of students have the
medium PDM category (66,67% of students); (2) the majority of class IX students
at SMPN 1 South Konawe have gender undifferentiated (45,55%); (3) KBRM for
class IX students at SMPN 1 South Konawe has an average score 19,95. The
majority of student have the medium KBRM category (74,44% of student); (4)
student with high PDM were able to achieve all KBRM indicators including
reacting, comparing, and contemplating, some students with moderate PDM were
able to achieve all KBRM inicators including reacting, comparing, and
contemplating; some other achieved the reacting and comparing indicators and
there were also those who only achieved the reacting indicators, while students with
low PDM were able to achieve all KBRM indicators including reacting,
comparing, and contemplating; some other only reach reaction indicators; (5) the
masculine gender has been able to reach the reacting indicators, but has not yet
reached the comparing and contemplating indicators. Meanwhile, students who
have feminine, androgynous, and undifferentiated gender have been able to achieve
all KBRM indicators, namely reacting,comparing, and contemplating; (6) each
gender focuses on moderate PDM with moderate KBRM; (7) there is no significant
influence of PDM and gender differences on KBRM.
