Abstract

ABSTRAK

Environment, Technlogy, And Society (SETS) Terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil
Belajar IPA di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari, Program Studi Tadris IPA, Fakultas
Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam negeri Kendari,
Pembimbing: Bapak Syarif Rizalia, M.Pd dan Ibu Nur Hikmah, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh model
pembelajaran Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society (SETS) terhadap
motivasi belajar IPA di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari; 2) pengaruh model pembelajaran
Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society (SETS) terhadap hasil belajar IPA
di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari; 3)seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran
Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society (SETS) terhadap motivasi dan
hasil belajar IPA di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelian
kuantitatif. populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP
Negeri 15 Kendari yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada
penelitian ini menggunakan obsevasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif (mean, rentang data, jumlah kelas
interval, menentukan panjang kelas, varians, standar deviasi, presentase, dan
kategorisasi), teknik analisis inferensial (uji normalitas, uji reliabilitas, uji
homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:
1) Motivasi belajar IPA di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari memiliki rata-rata 0,81 dengan
kategori tinggi; 2) Hasil belajar IPA di SMP Negeri 15 Kendari memiliki nilai
rata-rata 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi; 3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran
Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society (SETS) terhadap motivasi belajar
siswa, dengan nilai thitung 114,95 > ttabel 1,67, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa
variabel model pembelajaran Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society
(SETS) (X) berpengaruh pada variabel motivasi belajar IPA (Y1); 4) Terdapat
pengaruh model pembelajaran Science, Environment, Technlogy, And Society
(SETS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan nilaithitung 98,96 > ttabel 1,67, sehingga
dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel model pembelajaran Science, Environment,
Technlogy, And Society (SETS) (X) berpengaruh pada variabel hasilbelajar IPA
(Y2).

Environment, Technology, And Society (SETS) Learning Model on
Motivation and Science Learning Outcomes at SMP Negeri 15 Kendari,
Tadris Science Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,
Kendari State Islamic Institute, Supervisor: Mr. Syarif Rizalia , M.Pd and
Mrs. Nur Hikmah, M.Pd.
This research aims to determine: 1) the influence of the Science, Environment,
Technology, And Society (SETS) learning model on science learning motivation
at SMP Negeri 15 Kendari; 2) the influence of the Science, Environment,
Technology, And Society (SETS) learning model on science learning outcomes at
SMP Negeri 15 Kendari; 3) how much influence does the Science, Environment,
Technology, And Society (SETS) learning model have on motivation and science
learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 15 Kendari. This research is a quantitative
research. The population in this study was all class VII students at SMP Negeri 15
Kendari, totaling 100 students. Data collection techniques in this research used
observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are
descriptive analysis techniques (mean, data range, number of class intervals,
determining class length, variance, standard deviation, percentage and
categorization), inferential analysis techniques (normality test, reliability test,
homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and N-gain test.The research results show that:
1) Motivation to learn science at SMP Negeri 15 Kendari has an average of 0.81
in the high category; 2) Science learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 15 Kendari
have an average score of 0.71 in the high category; 3) There is an influence of the
Science, Environment, Technology, And Society (SETS) learning model on
student learning motivation, with a t value of 114.95 > ttable 1.67, so it can be
concluded that the Science, Environment, Technology, And Society learning
model variable ( SETS) (X) has an effect on the science learning motivation
variable (Y1); 4) There is an influence of the Science, Environment, Technology,
And Society (SETS) learning model on student learning outcomes, with a value of
tcount 98.96 > ttable 1.67, so it can be concluded that the variable Science,
Environment, Technology, And Society learning model ( SETS) (X) has an effect
on the science learning outcome variable (Y2).
