Abstract

ABSTRACT
Hardiyani Nur /SID 16010106002. ―EFL Preservice Teachers Perceptions of
Reflective Journal Writing‖. Supervised by: Dr. Sitti Nurfaidah, S.Pd., M.Ed. and
Ilfan Askul Pehala, S.Pd., M.Hum.
This study investigates EFL preservice teachers‘ perceptions of reflective
teaching journal writing use. Data were collected from preservice teachers‘
reflections. This research involved 10 English education major students. The
result of this study revealed that most of the preservice teachers perceived
reflective journal writing as beneficial. Reflective teaching journal writing helped
them realize and evaluate their shortcomings as EFL preservice teachers during
their field teaching practice. The result of this study revealed how pre-service EFL
teachers perceived the use of reflective teaching journal writing during their field
teaching practice.
