Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika merupakan suatu kemampuan
berpikir yang efektif dan efisien untuk menganalisa dan memecahkan
permasalahan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, serta mengambil keputusan mengenai
apa yang diyakini atau dilakukan yang berkaitan dengan pelajaran matematika..
Motivasi merupakan sebuah dorongan yang timbul pada diri seseorang secara
sadar atau tidak sadar untuk melakukan tindakan sesuai dengan tujuan tertentu.
Jika seorang siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang baik maka ia akan terdorong
untuk tekun dan giat dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1)
mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar secara
bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMPN 4 Kendari; (2)
mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar
matematika siswa SMPN 4 Kendari; (3) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar
terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMPN 4 Kendari. Penelitian ini termasuk
jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Populasi pada penelitian
ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Kendari yang berjumlah 438 siswa
sedangkan sampel berjumlah 92 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket
tertutup dengan skala likert, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliput: (1) uji
instrumen, terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas. (2) Uji prasyarat penelitian,
terdiri dari uji normalitas, linearitas, heterokestisitas, uji autokorelasi, dan uji
multikolinearitas. (3) Uji hipotesis, terdiri dari uji regresi linear berganda, uji
secara simultan dan uji secara parsial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat
pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar secara
bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMPN 4 Kendari; (2)
terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil
belajar matematika siswa di SMPN 4 Kendari dan (3) tidak terdapat pengaruh
yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMPN
4 Kendari.

Mathematical critical thinking ability is an effective and efficient thinking
ability to analyze and solve problems analyzing, evaluating, and making decisions
about what to believe or do related to mathematics lessons. Motivation is an
impulse that arises in a person consciously or not. conscious to take action in
accordance with a specific purpose. If a student has good learning motivation, he
will be encouraged to be diligent and active in learning. The aims of this study
were to: (1) determine the effect of critical thinking skills and learning motivation
together on the mathematics learning outcomes of SMPN 4 Kendari students; (2)
to determine the effect of critical thinking skills on the mathematics learning
outcomes of SMPN 4 Kendari students; (3) determine the effect of learning
motivation on mathematics learning outcomes of SMPN 4 Kendari students. This
research is a type of quantitative research with ex-post facto methods. The
population in this study were all class VII students of SMPN 4 Kendari, totaling
438 students, while the sample consisted of 92 students. Data collection
techniques through closed questionnaires with a Likert scale, and documentation.
Data analysis techniques include: (1) instrument test, consisting of validity and
reliability tests. (2) Research prerequisite test, consisting of normality test,
linearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation test, and multicollinearity test. (3)
Hypothesis testing, consisting of multiple linear regression tests, simultaneous
tests and partial tests. The results of this study are (1) there is a significant
influence of critical thinking skills and learning motivation together on students'
mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 4 Kendari; (2) there is a significant
effect of critical thinking skills on students' mathematics learning outcomes at
SMPN 4 Kendari and (3) there is no significant effect of learning motivation on
students' mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 4 Kendari.
