Abstract

ABSTRAK
Melati (NIM: 2022040201005). Manajemen Mutu Mahasantri Ma’had Al
Jami’ah IAIN Kendari. Pembimbing I: Dr. H. Abdul Kadir, M.Pd., Pembimbing
II: Dr. Syamsuddin, M.Pd.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi
yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen mutu
mahasantri Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Kendari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan
teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui
reduksi data, display dan verifikasi data. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan
melalui teknik perpanjangan pengamatan, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan peningkatan mutu melalui: (a) perumusan
standar mutu meliputi Baca tulis Al-Qur'an (BTQ), wawasan keagamaan, akhlakul
kharimah, literasi dan pengembangan skill. (b) mengidentifkasi kemampuan melalui
placement test (c) penentuan kemampuan pengelolah melalui Surat Keputusan. (d)
mengembangkan kemampuan mahasantri sesuai kekurangan dan kebutuhan. (e)
penyusunan program untuk mencapai standar melalui jadwal kajian dan kegiatan
rutin. 2) Pengendalian peningkatan mutu dilakukan meliputi: (a) mengevaluasi
pencapaian mutu melalui ujian Imtihan Niha’i namun tidak mengukur semua bidang.
(b) menganalisa hasil pencapaian mutu tidak dilakukan tindak lanjut Imtihan Niha’i.
(c) pemberian sanksi sekedar ancaman dan himbauan. 3) Perbaikan peningkatan mutu
dilakukan melalui: (a) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan standar mutu
melalui pemetaan awal tahun. (b) upaya peningkatan mutu melalui Baca tulis Al
Qur'an (BTQ) seperti tahsin tafidz, wawasan keagamaan seperti pemahaman agama
mengenai kehidupan sehari-hari, akhlakul kharimah seperti standar pakaian, adab,
akhlak. Literasi pengembangan bahasa arab inggris dan pengembangan skill meliputi
mubaligho, kaligrafi, tilawah, dan lainnya. (c) masalah peningkatan mutu meliputi
backround dan waktu. (d) perbaikan peningkatan mutu melalui pembelajaran dan
pelatihan. (e) pelatihan-pelatihan peningkatan mutu sesuai kebutuhan pembinaan
mahasantri (f) mempertahankan pencapaian melalui evaluasi, kesempatan dan
motivasi. Saran penelitian: (a) Proses perencanaan perlu diadakan pemetaan
kemampuan pengelolah Ma’had berupa pelatihan atau evaluasi (b) memaksimalkan
peningkatan kemampuan pada proses pengendalian (c) proses perbaikan melalui
pemberian sanksi harus sesuai peraturan dan semua kegiatan Ma’had diupayakan
mempunyai data fisik.

ABSTRACT
Melati (NIM: 2022040201005). Quality Management Mahasantri Ma'had Al

This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which aims to
describe and analyze the quality management of the Ma'had Al-Jami'ah IAIN Kendari
student body. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and
documentation techniques. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction,
display and data verification. Checking the validity of the data is carried out through
extended observation techniques and triangulation. The research results show that: 1)
Planning for quality improvement through: (a) formulating quality standards
including BTQ, religious insight, akhlakul kharimah, literacy and skills development.
(b) identifying capabilities through a placement test (c) determining management
capabilities through a Decree. (d) develop students' abilities according to their
shortcomings and needs. (e) preparation of programs to achieve standards through
study schedules and routine activities. 2) Quality improvement control is carried out
including: (a) evaluating quality achievements through the Imtihan Niha'i exam but
does not measure all areas. (b) analyzing the results of quality achievement without
Imtihan Niha'i following up. (c) imposing sanctions is merely a threat and appeal. 3)
Quality improvement is carried out through: (a) identifying the need to improve
quality standards through early year mapping. (b) efforts to improve quality through
BTQ such as tahsin tafidz, religious insight such as religious understanding of daily
life, akhlakul kharimah such as clothing standards, manners, morals. Literacy
development in Arabic and English and development of skills including preaching,
calligraphy, recitations, and others. (c) quality improvement issues include
background and time. (d) improvement, quality improvement, deficiencies corrected
have an improved basis. (e) quality improvement training according to student
development needs (f) maintaining achievements through evaluation, opportunity and
motivation. Research suggestions: (a) The planning process requires mapping of
Ma'had management capabilities in the form of training or evaluation (b) maximizing
capacity building in the control process (c) the improvement process through
providing sanctions must comply with regulations and strive for all Ma'had activities
to have physical data .
