Nur Maymuna. 18010105061. Improving Children’s Language Skills Through 3
Dimensional Storytelling For Children Aged 5-6 Years at An’ Nasar
Kindergarten, Wowawanggu Village, Kadia District, Kendari City. Guided by
Erdiyanti, S.Ag, M.Pd. dan La Hewi, S.Pd. I. M.Pd.
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to find out 3D media
storytelling activities in improving language skills in group B children at An’
Nasar Kindergarten, Wowawanggu Village, Kadia District, Kendari City. Data
collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentasion, and
assessment. While for the model chosen in taking action, namely the Kemmis and
Mc Taggart model cycle which has four stages, namely planning, implementing,
observasing and reflecting. The implementation of this research was carried out in
two cycles, each cycle was carried out with three meetings each. The results
obtained in this study indicate that storytelling with 3-dimensional media can
improve language skills in children in group B at An’ Nasar Kindergarten,
Wowawanggu Village, Kadia District, Kendari City. The results of research
showing that language development in children has experienced a very good
increase. In cycle I the third meeting showed the results of the ability to improve
children’s language reached 41.67%. And in cycle II the third meeting the
children who completed reached 75%. This shows that through storytelling with
3- dimensional media at An’ Nasar Kindergarten the success has increased
because it is in accordance with the achievement level indicator which is equal to
75%.
